You don’t get many opportunities at a fish like this. @odomoutside made the most of his when this absolute tank came to the net. A true trophy and a memory that’ll last a lifetime. Congratulations on one heck of a fish.

REEL RECOVERY RETREAT

October 16–18, 2026

A weekend built for veterans.

Step away from the noise. Reconnect with your brothers. Spend time outdoors, share stories, make new connections, and take a little time to reset.

This is more than a retreat. It is a chance to slow down, recharge, and remember that you do not have to do everything alone.

Veterans Only

October 16–18, 2026

Come for the experience. Stay for the camaraderie.

More details and registration information coming soon.

Odom Wu and PJ Toms were thrilled to shake hands with this amazing smallmouth buffalo earlier this year. Native to the Mississippi River and its tributaries, often mistaken for common carp, the smallmouth buffalo can live up to 100 years. This one tipped the scales just over 28 pounds on its way to the senior center.

Found my new favorite way to make the rainbow trout Spiral Spook. Using an airbrush as usual but finishing by flicking paint off of a paintbrush to make the random scattering of black dots that accentuate it really well!
