[ADOPTED!!]
Meet Sneezy! 🤍 This 8–10-year-old, 50lb girl has been with us since March — over 150 days waiting for someone to realize just how special she is.

Sneezy is sweet, gentle, and perfectly content taking life at her own pace. She’s curious and independent, and while she may not rush over asking for attention, give her a little time and she’ll happily settle in right beside you. She also loves other dogs and has done beautifully with her foster siblings, especially when everyone keeps things on the calmer side.

Her days are a mix of walks, backyard zoomies, window watching, and tossing her toys into the air with questionable catching skills 😂 She’s potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and is learning that responding to “Sneezy” usually results in cheese.

After 152 days with us, we’d really love for Sneezy’s person to finally find her. She’s looking for a home with minimal stairs or elevator access and someone who wants a calm, loving companion to share the everyday stuff with. 🤍

[ADOPTED!] Meet Lina 🤍 9 years old, 9 lbs, and the perfect mix of professional napper + surprisingly adventurous little lady.

At home, Lina is happiest curled up beside you, on top of you, under a pile of blankets… basically anywhere cozy. But mention a walk and she’s ready to go. She’s wonderful on leash, takes the city in stride, loves soaking up the sun, sniffing around the park, and still has plenty of pep for a good trot, spin, or bird chase.

Lina is potty trained, good in the car, and does well with other dogs in the home. She can be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’s the sweetest little shadow who just wants to snooze nearby.

And this weekend, you can meet her in person! Lina will be joining our friends at @officialprojectskye for Senior Sips at @corknyc on August 23 from 2–5PM 🍷🐾

Can’t believe we have to resort to this, but can you do us a solid and drop a comment if you want to give this old lady and her bonded daughter a chance at finding love? This profoundly sweet mother-daughter duo needs all the help they can get. Try finding a single senior dog a home, let alone two at once.

Laverne (mom, 12 yrs old) and Shirley (8 yrs old) are each 7 lbs and have never been separated, so we’re making sure they get to keep each other through their golden years. They’re low maintenance, good with other dogs, potty trained, and snuggly. Remarkably, they somehow landed themselves the kindest foster family on the planet — their foster humans have a bonded pair of dogs themselves and have sent nothing but patient, enthusiastic updates about the girls (swipe). Next, they’ll need a forever family in the suburbs ready for senior vet care.

Their angelic foster dad says: “Laverne and Shirley are two peas in a pod. They love to snuggle together and are definite couch potatoes throughout the day. Both doggos love attention, they will climb on you for pets and belly rubs and will give you hundreds of kisses, but when it’s time to settle down, they like to lay in their own space (bed, sofa blanket). Shirley acts like a puppy half the time, so curious about people and things wherever she is. She loves to sniff around and chase after birds or small animals. When home, she curls up like a little donut and likes to watch your every move. She’ll sit next to you on the couch if you’re watching tv or working and quietly spectate. She’s a tiny ball of energy and has so much love to give. Laverne is a bit more timid. She’s old and wise, calmly trotting behind you on walks or curled up next to her daughter to relax. She loves butt scratches and is a cuddle buddy. They are pretty chill indoors and won’t demand endless amounts of stimulation and exercise but still need a few short walks a day. Both are potty trained. They are completely fine being left home alone.”
