CAC September breakfast was everything we needed to kick off this sorority year and more! It was inspiring, filled with love, laughter, and purpose. I truly love my Sandz deep—we’re ready to serve hard, play hard, and pour into the community with everything we’ve got. 17 Degrees of PEARLfection came in and stepped up! To say we are REDy is really an understatement! We are Great Out Of Compton!

Oh, to be a Delta. 🔺❤️🤍 @comptondeltas

This year, my birthday hit a little different. Being a Michigan girl miles and miles from home, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the chosen family I’ve built out here in LA. 💛

You all SHOWED UP for me — and I don’t take that lightly. Thank you for pouring into me, lifting me up, and reminding me that I’m never alone out here.

To my bonus sisters… y’all already know. LOVE Y’ALL DEEEP! 💃🏾❤️ OO-OOP!

And to everyone who sent birthday love, texts, calls, DMs, and good energy — THANK YOU. I felt every bit of it. So, so grateful. 💐✨

Happy New Year!
At the beginning of 2024, I considered applying for other roles and resigning from my position. The end of February, I was led to find and listen to a livestream of a service that I am not even subscribed to on YouTube. I did not know why, but I was obedient. Before the message began, I heard a prophecy that broke me down and it became clear why I had to watch and listen.

I did not resign. Are there frustrating days? Absolutely, however I ‘try’ to focus on the ‘why’ and I try NOT to lament my assignment (Thank you @dsmithh08 for making me see this).

This morning I reflected on 2024, and I could not stop crying. I am grateful I did not resign. Here is voiceover of the word I received from @dr.matthewstevenson that convicted me, challenged me, and gave me the courage and confidence to walk boldly in my assignment. Since this word, I did a lot, but my greatest reward are the accomplishments of ALL of the amazing scholars I have the privilege and honor to pour into at THE Howard University. Through the frustrations, you all are a constant reminder of my ‘why’. It is my prayer that you go FURTHER than me!
I love you all!!!
