I’m so grateful for our delightful DTLA Artwalk night at OFFUS gallery! There’s now a trolley that takes you all over DTLA and the Bendix Building is one of the stops! Thank you to Michelle and my lovable friends for attending! A few of us artists in the Assembly group show did artists talks about our work. I loved talking about the historic Black Cat Bar protests and my inspiration for highlighting this historic landmark in felt. I loved hearing about the other artist’s work. What a rad group!

Thanks Noel & Alan for curating me in the ASSEMBLY exhibition @offus_dtla . I was so wrapped up with the show and talking to people that I forgot to take any pictures. Here’s a shot on the way to the gallery inspired by a @lynettekhenderson painting (exhibition at @shoeboxarts.la right now). Second photo is a detail from my Snow Drawing series, exhibited @husavikmuseum and later in solo show in Los Angeles. The Bendix Building @bendixbuilding is a force with so many galleries open at once. Come to @dtlaartnight Oct 1st. Free shuttles too! #martincoxstudio #contemporaryphotography
