Mabon altars for the Autumn Equinox over the years, back to 2011. When the kids were small, they loved to make them mostly by themselves, adding books, toys, art projects, and treasures found outside on our walks. Now that they are older, they still like it when I make them, and every once in a while they might add a little something.

Candles are from @candlesofthemoon and @sylvaflamerituals 🕯️

Went back to Conference House Park today for the first time in what I think is a little less than a year. As much as I love Bay Ridge, it doesn't have parks quite like this. Certainly not parks where you can see a bald eagle, like I did today. What's funny is, in the first video I took of the osprey, I didn't even notice the bald eagle in the tree. 🙃 But you can hear in the second video where my brain finally kicks in. 😂

I spent the day setting up Persephone’s alter, crafting the last few of the eggshell candles, meditating in the bit of rain that came, and listening to the story of when Persephone was abducted by Hades. Since it’s now spring I meditated on her return from the underworld to a meadow of flowers.

I love the way the eggshell candles came out. They burned for almost two hours! @crescentandcraft Persephone’s taper burned so beautifully with drips of deep pomegranate and the shapes it made. 🥀🕯️

I still miss Summer unbearably but tried to have a nice Ostara. I hope you all had a beautiful day.
