Which one deserves a spot in every vintage collection?

These brands built cultures.
From hip-hop to skateboarding, workwear to music, these names helped shape another side of an entire generation.

Swipe through.

Polo Ralph Lauren 1993

Polo crossed far beyond prep culture. Worn by New York’s Lo Lifes and embraced by hip-hop, Ralph Lauren became one of the most influential looks of the decade.

Starter 1992

Starter jackets became one of the biggest status symbols of the ‘90s. Sports, hip-hop and streetwear all collided under one iconic logo.

JNCO 1995

JNCO took oversized denim to another level. Their ultra-wide leg jeans became icons of skateboarding, alternative culture and late ‘90s fashion.

Dickies 1994

Originally built for workers, Dickies found a second home in skateboarding and street culture. Durable, timeless and effortlessly cool, it became a staple of ‘90s style.

Wu Wear 1995

Created by the Wu-Tang Clan, Wu Wear helped pioneer artist-owned fashion brands, proving music and streetwear could become one culture.

Karl Kani 1991

Known as the “Godfather of Urban Fashion,” Karl Kani became one of the first brands built from within hip-hop culture. Oversized denim, bold graphics and relaxed fits helped define early ‘90s streetwear.

Cross Colours 1990

Built around the message “Clothing Without Prejudice,” Cross Colours celebrated diversity through bold colors, oversized fits and one of the defining aesthetics of early ‘90s streetwear.

Girbaud 1994

Marithé + François Girbaud pushed denim forward with innovative washes, baggy fits and signature straps. Their jeans became staples across hip-hop and streetwear.

Do you miss when the streets were the social network?

Mid-late ‘90s, New York.
Before the hype, there was Lafayette Street.

Supreme wasn’t really a store.
It was a place to meet.
Skaters, artists, filmmakers, photographers, and kids with nowhere important to be would spend entire afternoons hanging around the same few blocks.
Nobody was thinking about building a brand.
It was just a place to chill, skate, and hang out with friends.

Some memories are worth keeping alive.

We ALL start somewhere. My journey to CEO of @dailydosehospitality wasn’t overnight and it wasn’t always smooth. True success comes when your home is aligned with your priorities . Your partner is your biggest supporter or your biggest obstacle. Choosing the right partner is a two-way street and where most couples get it wrong. Some of my proudest moments are in private with my wife @vane8883 . We talk , we agree , we disagree but we commit . She allows me the freedom to chase my dreams relentlessly. She equally has very specific demands about our household and our daughter. She is honest , fair , demanding and reasonable . It’s not about quantity but quality . She teaches me more than I teach her. We are a winning combo because we each value our contributions and have a clear objective for our future…… freedom. #mywife #leadership #alignment @dailydosehospitality @drinkbenjaminblue @bosscatkitchen @tensushicocktailbar @ilovebaba_g @the30rule

The look on my face should tell you exactly where I am heading ……. To the top. The only shadow I worry about these days is the one in front of me. He is strong , driven , focused , determined , humble , hungry , passionate and imperfect. This is exactly where I want to be. The BEST year of my professional career has been this reset. The relentless approach to grounding myself in the work is paying off , but far from done. Success has been replaced with gratitude………. Failure has been replaced with gratitude…………. Motivation replaced with relentless discipline. Keep watching as we build brick by brick. #discipline #motivation #leadership #humbled
