Stills. And. Motions. There are projects that you lean into because you feel they will provide you with a sense of pride. There are projects that you dive into because they will restore your finances (never underestimate the sense of freedom a replenished bank account does for your soul and… company 🫣🤣) and there are projects that you simply fall in love with. They embody what you believe in, what you identify with, what you yearn for. Idyllic but true. @aesplore_original is an innovative company founded by passionate travelers and travel industry specialists, Micha Weinberger and Tom Clark, that offers curated, immersive, multi-day travel experiences on the African continent - and beyond- connecting travelers with exceptional creators in Art, Design and Architecture. We were introduced virtually through a common friend whose uncanny flair for connecting people is absolutely never wrong. And the rest is simply history. We relished on the impeccable Cape Town experience, and planned for Dakar, highlighting the vibrancy of African cities through the creative humans who shape them. The ease with which we conversed, brainstormed, planned and created is what makes my work, our work so enticing… the lesson here: always do what you love… aesthetic travels, creativity, experiential communication… what a year already! A few weeks ago, we had the unique opportunity to step into the world of Brett Charles Seiler during an inspiring studio visit. Immersing ourselves in his creative space, we were drawn into the deeply personal narratives that inform his work — stories of intimacy, vulnerability, and human connection. @brettseiler art reflects the emotional depth of his experiences, turning moments of tenderness into universally relatable themes. Following the studio visit, we were honored with an exclusive preview of his latest exhibition, "I Would Like to Lose It All With You," at @everard_read_cape_town_ . This collection beautifully explores themes of longing, identity, and the fragile nature of relationships, showcasing Brett's incredible ability to evoke profound emotions through his art. It was a privilege to witness the passion, thoughtfulness, and dedication behind Brett’s work firsthand. His pieces continue to leave a lasting impression, inviting viewers to reflect on their own connections and personal journeys. Thank you Brett! 📷 @oh_henry & @alessandrocalzoni
