What happens when you combine the creativity of the Ridgefield Art Association, the joy of our annual Birdfest and Bluegrass Festival, and a little community spirit?
You get two adorable chickadee’s taking over downtown!
One of our very talented members created the sweetest chickadee costume, and another member‘s kids brought it to life, flitting, flying, and spreading smiles as they made their way around town to say hello to our wonderful local businesses and community members.
They were the perfect little ambassadors for everything we love about Ridgefield: art, birds, music, creativity, and community.
A huge shout out to our talented costume maker, Rose Jubb, and to our adorable chickadee’s, the Kelley kid’s, for helping make this celebration so special. Thank you to all of the local businesses and community members who welcomed them with a smile. It takes a whole flock to make this community so much fun!

Meet the People Behind Ridgefield Main Street

If you’ve ever attended Main Street Day, admired the hanging flower baskets, participated in Main Street Moola, enjoyed Wine Walk, or noticed improvements happening throughout Downtown… there’s a good chance Ridgefield Main Street played a role.

Ridgefield Main Street is a nonprofit organization led by staff, guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, and supported by dedicated committee members and community volunteers. Together, we work to strengthen Downtown Ridgefield by supporting local businesses, preserving our historic character, creating memorable events, and investing in projects that help our downtown thrive.

This photo captures just part of the team working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Interested in getting involved? We’d love to connect.

A look back at Sunday’s Denim Day Fashion Show — created to amplify today, April 29, International Denim Day. 👖💜

This wasn’t just a runway. It was a statement.

A community coming together to challenge victim-blaming and stand with survivors.

Denim Day began as a global response to injustice — and today, we carry that message forward. Because it’s never about what someone wore. It’s about accountability.

At YWCA Clark County, we’re proud to create spaces like this that turn awareness into action and visibility into impact.

Now it’s your turn:
👖 Wear your denim

What a wonderful evening spent shining with @ywcacc at the Shine Gala. YWCA is doing vital work to protect victims of domestic violence and advance racial justice and equity in SW Washington. It was an honor to see Dr. @dudley.megan and Dr. Karin Edwards receive the Val Joshua Racial Justice Award. It’s an incredible recognition for the work they are both doing through Ridgefield Multicultural Initiative and at Clark College. Such a fun night with great friends!

You might be wondering why you’re seeing my campaign signs around town even though I’m running unopposed for Ridgefield City Council.

The short answer: your vote still matters.

I believe in showing up for the democratic process, every time. Over the last few years, I’ve had the honor of serving Ridgefield, first as a councilor and now as your mayor. It’s been one of the greatest privileges of my life to help guide this community through growth, connection, and change.

Even without an opponent, I want to earn your vote, because your support matters more than anything.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to cast your ballot on November 4, so I can continue serving this amazing community we all call home.
