A little piece of my heart, planted in Peru. 🌱🇵🇪

Today we visited a children’s school in Calca, Sacred Valley and we all planted a tree.

How beautiful to leave something to keep growing long after we leave.

A small act of love, and a memory I’ll carry with me always.

Grateful for this opportunity and the people who welcomed us.

May this little tree grow strong. 💚

Day 2 in the Sacred Valley 🇵🇪🤍

A day to pause, give thanks, and connect deeply with this land and with each other.

We experienced a beautiful despacho ceremony. A traditional Andean sacred offering expressing gratitude to Pachamama/Mother Earth and the Apus/ mountain spirits. Giving back to the Earth that sustains us.

We are so grateful to be able to be here and share these moments with our beautiful Ohmies.

Day 1 of our Peru retreat 🇵🇪🤍

A long day of travel! Yes we are tired but our hearts are so full.

There was so much love, laughter, celebration, and of course yoga. So many little moments to be grateful to be here, sharing this experience with this beautiful group.

The Sacred Valley is breathtaking and the energy here is magical.
What an amazing way to begin this journey✨

I made it… Sacred Valley, Peru. 🇵🇪🤍

After these past few months, being here feels very emotional. So much has been on my mind and in my heart, and I’m grateful for this time to slow down and take it all in.

Today, on my mat, with the sun on my face and these mountains around me, I’m giving myself permission to receive some of the love and care I’m always pouring into others.

Sacred roots a journey of grounding and renewal.

This is so needed 🤍

REASON #10: FUN.

Sometimes we make personal growth way too serious.

One of my favorite parts about men’s circles, groups, and retreats is simple…

We have FUN.

Our circles have structure, but they’re intentionally loose enough to allow every experience to be different. We talk. We laugh. We move. We share stories. We connect.

It’s that old-school kind of fun—like being a kid again, riding bikes with your friends, building ramps, and completely losing track of time.

The kind of fun that puts you into a FLOW state, where hours can feel like minutes.

And somewhere between the laughter, conversations, movement, and shared experiences… we grow.

That’s really what this entire Top 10 has been about.

Men helping men become better men.

Better for ourselves.
Better for our families.
Better for our communities.
And ultimately, better for society.

REASON #9: BUILD YOUR LEGACY.

We are ALL going to leave a legacy behind.

The goal isn’t for everyone to remember you as a hero. The goal is to intentionally build a path toward how you want to be remembered.

Men’s groups, circles, and retreats can help you do that.

They surround you with men who can hold you accountable to the life you say you want to create.

And sometimes, the man sitting across from you has already accomplished what you’re trying to achieve. He may have the experience, lessons, connections, or blueprint that can help you get there.

I often tell my kids:

You can live life by DEFAULT or by DESIGN.

Don’t just accept whatever life becomes.

Design the man you want to become.
Create the life you want to live.
Build the legacy you want to leave.

I’ve been quiet on here for a few days because real life has needed all of me. Since my mom has been in rehab, life has felt completely upside down. I’m carrying so many emotions, questions, and uncertainty about what comes next for her.

I’m still teaching as much as I can and showing up when I’m able. Teaching continues to be one of the things that keeps me grounded through all of this. So much of what I’m sharing in this post resonated deeply with me and where I am right now.

I don’t have the answers. I’m simply taking it one day at a time, loving her through it, and giving myself permission to feel all of it.

Love you and miss you all. 🤍
