It’s been a while… 🤍

I’m still here, getting through each day as best as I can. Some days are harder than others, but I’m grateful for my love, my family, my friends and my students. Your love, strength and inspiration mean more than you know.

Next week, we head to Peru for our Ohmies retreat 🇵🇪 After months of stress and sadness, I’m excited to have something to look forward to. A little space to breathe, reconnect and take care of me, too.

Love you and miss you all. 🤍

A little late on this post, and what happened in that at Flo Fitness on Sunday, 9/13 deserved a moment before I shared anything about it.

Reclaim The Man: Movement, Sound & Mindfulness - FloFitness — Scotch Plains, NJ
Guys showed UP.

And we didn’t start with movement. We started with a question:
“What’s one thing from your childhood you would change — that could have an impact on your life right now?”

And just like that, the space opened up. Real convos, real shares, and guys being real with each other in a way that most of us never get to be. We went over the agreements, then the Reclaim The Man credo, and boom bop, the space was set.

That’s the thing about these men’s experiences; before you can move anything in your body, you gotta be willing to name what’s in your mind.

THEN, we picked up the medicine balls. Why….Because sometimes you don’t need to talk about what you’ve been carrying. You need to throw that s**t! Move it out of your body the same way it got in…physically, intentionally, and with everything you got.

Men released more than anger. They set free whatever they’d been holding. Stress. Weight. The stuff you can’t always name but you always feel.

THEN, we settled in. Sound took over, and I watched grown men learn how to just be. Be with the quiet. Be with their thoughts. Be with themselves. No phone. No distraction. No performance. Simply presence.
That’s rare for us as men, and it was powerful to witness.

Big ups to the Gentlemen who showed up and gave it everything. You made the space pop and pulse.

August was a great time with you ladies !!!!!

We had a rescheduled walk from July , trapeze yoga , our kickball game was cancelled ugh stupid rain took over both dates and we had our August walk and talk .

I love meeting new girls who vibe and seeing the day ones continue to pull up on me .

I want to thank everyone who came to the event and walk meet ups ! Your support means everything !

I appreciate it .

I’ve been quiet on here for a few days because real life has needed all of me. Since my mom has been in rehab, life has felt completely upside down. I’m carrying so many emotions, questions, and uncertainty about what comes next for her.

I’m still teaching as much as I can and showing up when I’m able. Teaching continues to be one of the things that keeps me grounded through all of this. So much of what I’m sharing in this post resonated deeply with me and where I am right now.

I don’t have the answers. I’m simply taking it one day at a time, loving her through it, and giving myself permission to feel all of it.
