Someone definitely missed me while I was away. 🐾 Simba hasn’t left my side since I got home, and honestly, I’m not complaining one bit!

Spending this cozy Sunday catching up on laundry, prepping for the week ahead, and sneaking in chapters with the ultimate reading buddy resting on my Kindle. 📱✨

Better late than never, right? 😅

I picked up this super late ARC of Love Me Stalk Me by Laura Bishop right before starting book two, and honestly, no regrets! As a fan of dark stalker romance and books like Lights Out, I knew this dark romance trope was going to be my jam. (And Simba was more than happy to model the Kindle stack today! 🐾)

Quick Plot Breakdown:
Izzy downloads an AI boyfriend app to fill the void left by her real-life boyfriend, who constantly judges her weight and job. Her AI boyfriend is the total opposite: protective, sweet, and devoted.

The catch? He’s not just an app. He’s actually her real-life coworker who hacked her phone. But hey, it’s all in the name of protection… right? 😉

This released back in December 2025, so I’m definitely behind on my ARC review stack, but better late than never! Thank you @atriabooks and @laurabishopauthor for the gifted copy!

Okay, I know the reading world is completely split on Yesteryear by @caroclaireburke, but I have to confess: I was absolutely obsessed. It was an unputdownable, stay-up-all-night, easy 5-star read for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I grabbed this as a @bookofthemonth pick because I’ve been fascinated by the whole trad-wife trend lately. The main character is undeniably unlikable and the storyline gets a little wild, but honestly? Her inner dialogue felt like the unfiltered thoughts people actually have but would never say out loud. I loved that raw honesty in a character!

It’s our book club pick and we actually meet tonight! Because it’s so polarizing, I feel like the discussion could be wild.

With the year being halfway through I thought it was time for a shrink the shelf update! One of my goals this year is to read more of my physical TBR & have the total number of books less than the year started.

I started 2026 with 86 books and currently my book count of physical books to read is 64!! I’m so happy with how this year has progressed so far 👏🤩

Basket cat Simba is back to share 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘔𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 by @bytiffanycrum. I actually grabbed this from @bookofthemonth a couple of months ago, so I was glad to have a reason to finally pick it up! 🧺🐈

Guys, this was one of the highest-rated 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 our group has ever read (sitting right up there just behind 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 and 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴). I absolutely loved the podcast element and also learned a ton about narcolepsy.

Sarah Damoff has been on my radar for a while, and The Burning Side turned out to be the ultimate vacation read! I am SO glad I brought it along with me. ☀️🌊

The Vibe:
