I am still processing what ended up being such an emotional day for me. Thank you to my volunteers @curatedbyjaelynn @buuutchhh @dreamguy408 for holding it down in the front and back for me.

From the hours of 12-3:20 I was able to check in 115 visitors to handle the material. First hour was the slowest and most intimate with the next few being the most hectic. At one point I had to keep a cycle of completely emptying the room and bringing in rounds of 15 people to only look at stuff for 10 minutes. I am happy for the people who were able to get some prints done on the riso.

Some of the most fulfilling parts for me were being able to accommodate people’s research interests and knowing everyone walked away finding something they were specifically in search for.

I had never curated and hosted a film screening and all the adrenaline from not eating and interfacing with so many people really made me crash. While watching Max I started to cry. I started to feel the weight of truly finding my purpose. I started to feel the years of searching catch up with me. I realized I truly gave me all and it had been years in the making. It was so endearing to hear people’s reflections and share excitement.

Thank you for all the support and encouragement 💙 the next one will be on April 12th @batherslibrary and will be completely different. I apologize to all the people who were not able to make it in or sign in at all. 12-3 was such a short window and I wish I could’ve welcomed you all.

Still reeling from my opening reception 😮‍💨 I wasn’t sure who would come, but y’all really blew it out of the water?! Hearing that you drove an hour or took a wfh day, just the fact that y’all took time out of your day, to come see the frogs and show your support is unreal for me. That effort doesn’t go unnoticed. I still have a hard time grasping that fact?!? 🤧 I hope you all know how much I appreciate y’all!! I am so glad to get to meet you all in real life and thank you for waiting in line and being patient and talking to me and loving the frogs. Thank you thank you my tiny heart is overwhelmed 💗
