My gorgeous Winnie..
I honestly can’t believe you are one today.
This whole year seems to have gone so quick.
When you were in my tummy I used to wonder everyday what it would be like when you arrived, what your little character would be, what your little face would look like and how I would find it being a mummy for the first time!

You are the funniest sassiest little girl, you make us laugh every single day.
Considering you’ve been on the planet for only one year you never fail to amaze me on how smart you are!

We will always look after you and will always be your safe space.

Happy birthday Winnie we love you so much 🤍

I’ve been collecting their drawings for ages!! You know how they usually end up on the fridge… the walls… everywhere 😅

Today we finally decided to turn them into actual wall art. All their little characters, ideas, and stories in one place, exactly as they are.

It still needs an acrylic varnish on top…
but I have a feeling we’ll be adding a few more drawings before the weekend is over 🖍️👀

Cost me £29, saved our entire rainy morning, and gave us something we’ll keep forever!

Finally, my little Emily has hit 40 inches and is officially tall enough for the thrill rides! 🎢 She absolutely smashed it, riding everything and bravely claiming the front seat every single time! And true to form, with zero interest in 🧚fairy tales or princesses we expertly dodged that whole section of the park 🙏🏼🤭

My #StarWars fanatic Aidan was completely over the moon with the experience. Thanks to early morning start combined with lightning lane, we managed to cover all the rides in one day, even during one of the busiest times of the year 🚀✨

And Harvey… well, he was there for the snacks, as usual 🍦🍕🍔🍿

Now we’re back, re-charged and ready to smash another year 💪📸✨

When my 9 year old saw the Hollywood sign in the movie (Nativity!) this year, he said that he absolutely had to go there one day! When we told him he’d already been, when he was two & his brother was just one, he didn’t believe us at all. 🤣

It’s funny how little kids don’t remember from when they’re that young, and how lucky we are to have photos to prove it from our previous trips!!! 🙏🏼

Even though I’m a photographer, I almost never travel with my camera, especially when the kids are involved. I usually just snap away on my iPhone and hope for the best. But this year, for the first time, I decided to give my phone and Instagram a break. I really enjoyed photographing them with an actual camera and patiently waiting until we got home to edit the images, instead of instantly sharing everything to my stories.

LA wasn’t quite as dry as we expected this time around, but we still managed to squeeze in couple of lovely days and plenty of happy memories before heading off to Disneyland!

✨Wow-Worthy Wednesday with @ojpstudio ✨

This week, I just had to share these stunning images by @ojpstudio that really caught my eye.

Ozzy recently shot this adorable little ballerina, and honestly, the way she managed to capture the movement and grace in these photos is just incredible and the edits are ‘chefs kiss 👌’

Getting those kinds of shots right isn’t easy, especially with something as lively and quick as a ballerina. It takes patience, good timing, and a keen eye and she absolutely nailed it.

These images feel alive ,full of energy and movement but also full of the emotion of the grace of a dance…all frozen at just the right moment.
When you get it just right, those shots become so much more powerful. Just beautiful!

🎈11 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and launched my wedding photography business with nothing but passion and a dream to capture love stories!
