So much gratitude for everyone who came to celebrate the opening of An Inherent Undoing. Deeply felt thanks to all the artists for your criticality and generosity. Thank you to @rubinfoundation and all the folks who worked to create a beautiful gathering. The exhibition is open until June 6 and there will be programming throughout that time. Appreciate hearing your reflections on the work and let me know if you visit or would like to do a walkthrough, I can swing by ✌🏾

An Inherent Undoing opens Thursday, March 12th at the 8th Floor (@rubinfoundation) from 6-8pm, and I am incredibly grateful to think alongside and learn with these artists. The exhibition is a continuous reckoning with structures and histories of harm, with the acute awareness that repair is a fraught concept. What is left in the refusal of inadequate attempts at making amends? There are no conclusive answers, no clearly marked pathways. Nothing is settled. It is a consideration on the capacity to hold fractured realities, to live alongside irresolution and enfold into the rupture.

Immense thanks to the Rubin Foundation team, the art handlers, fabricators and everyone who has poured into this exhibition.
