Day 2 of driving 8,000 miles around the country.

We took this trip because we needed a ‘grief getaway’ after losing our daughter. So instead of sitting in this depression, we decided to go on a grand adventure!

Today we drove from Amarillo to Little Rock. Had some amazing coffee, breakfast, great new connections and some fun detours.

To those that have been asking how they buy us a coffee or fill up our tank on the road, we have a link in our bio! But, liking and commenting means the world already😊

Saturday, August 29th — BEAR: A Recovery Foundation is bringing the Bearcrawl for Recovery to Run for Hope in Oklahoma City, in partnership with @hope_is_alive

Recovery isn’t a sprint. It’s low to the ground, one hand and foot at a time, refusing to quit when everything says stop. That’s what early sobriety feels like. That’s why I bearcrawl.

Every step of this crawl is a fundraiser — 100% of donations go toward aftercare scholarships that fund Hope Is Alive’s programs, helping people get the support they need after treatment ends, when the real work of rebuilding a life begins.
