A good time was had by all at LVO this past weekend! I painted my second EVER mini at a class taught by @jacksoncwestmoreland … even got my family to come along too! Before we headed out I made sure to strike my best hero pose 😉 Can’t for next year! Maybe I’ll be brave enough to enter something in the painting competition!

I was invited to chat with Old Grumpy Wolf on his podcast to talk up the hobby. I really appreciate him reaching out and bringing me on. He's a nice dude that gives painters a platform to discuss the hobby and is interested to discover what got us excited about painting. Check him out!

Best AdeptiCon yet! Loved seeing everyone and teaching classes again.

My only regret is I never take enough pictures!

Warhammer second edition style:
Bjorn the Fell - handed on goblin green base @warcolours_com
I’ve been a huge fan of the nostalgia side of second edition 40K. When GW put up this kit, I jumped on it. It was my first made to order project and well worth the wait. So much fun getting inspired and preparing for this kit. As always I appreciate the ones that inspire in the community. Went Rhino Racing today with my Pepper gal and the kids over at the local Warhammer! It was a total blast. Everyone had a great time filled with laughter and jokes! Rhino Racing is literally the only other 40k game outside of Space Hulk that I've ever enjoyed. Also felt really good seeing the Rhinos I painted up and donated to the shop getting some awesome and appreciated use! Very much looking forward to playing again soon :D

PS: The rules are based on Squig Racing. Guy who runs the local Warhammer asked me not to post the rules, so I will abide by his request as Rhino Racing is his little creation.

Thank you to @oldgrumpywolf for sending me a T-shirt from his range of merch which will be available in the new year. I recommend giving him a follow, especially if you’re an oldhammer fan. As well as painting cool minis he also runs a YouTube channel where he’s interviewed a lot of hobbyists - definitely worth checking out ☺️
