Ignore the first part. It’s been a while and I sort of froze when starting to improvise at first. I started to catch on by the chord change. My only electric guitar with stickers on it and the only band sticker on it is one of my favorite bands of all time, @oldheavyhands . They are no longer together but have a near perfect catalogue. If you like southern rock music with a punk rock heart and killer songwriting/playing. Wearing @luceromusic again. #guitar #guitarist #guitarplayer #rock #guitarlover

It’s Small Business Saturday, y’all — and guess what? @allyallrecordsnc is a small business built by local artists making real-deal Carolina music.

If you want to support local this holiday season, snag a copy of the All Y’all Records Volume 1 Compilation featuring: Jack the Radio, The Gone Ghosts, Crenshaw Pentecostal, Eliza Mae, Heat Preacher, Rotoglow, Charles Latham, The Yardarm, plus a Reese McHenry track you can only get on this LP.

Give the gift of local music. Your ears (and your neighbors) will thank you.

🎙️ Eliza Mae is featured in Independent Artist Buzz!
She’s talking roots, resilience, and the women who shaped her sound.

If you haven’t heard her yet, now’s the time.
If you have—you already know. 👊

💬 “I’m not trying to fit in. I’m trying to sound like myself.”

Asphalt Dreams

We are all strangers here
In this town where we grew up
Where the street lights shine
On broken asphalt dreams
Let’s get on out of here
We’ll kick her down in gear
Ain’t no looking back
Honey you can do the same

It’s been a year or two
Or maybe quite a few
I can’t remember as good as I used too
Maybe your face will change
But your heart remains the same
Keep on keepin’ on this endless highway

Where midnight she knows our name

Guided by Fate again
Fueled on alcohol and sin
All these old scars
They show where we’ve been
Bury them deep inside
But there’s things we just can’t hide
Like this love for you
The fire still burn bright

Where midnight she knows our name
She don’t judge and she don’t blame
And midnight she knows our pain
She don’t judge and she don’t blame
