NIKE TRAINER EXCHANGE 2026

Massive s/o to Val for organising this whole event. This was the best one so far, we were lucky to get massive insight from media training & presenting to female physiology and ofc the newest product coming in hot 2027 🤫

Loved catching up with the whole team from Europe and massively inspired to be in a room full of sports professionals building their businesses and crushing it ❤️

I did my first Hyrox ever, got pushed through by a friend (because who can remember the order of the stations in a workout lol) and remembered by old love for boxing again.

10 saunas later I am very happy, very tired and do not know which day we have 🥰

Fast reps. Heavy legs. One more round.

But no one runs it alone.

Every week, professional Nike Coaches guide the community through each session. This week, @olefoerster led us through running technique, drills and intervals designed to make every step more efficient.

The energy, the support and the people around you take you further than you would go by yourself.

I didn’t even introduce myself properly. Sorry, that’s not how I was raised.

My name is Lucas, and among the list of things I like there are some things you would consider healthy and some you wouldn’t. Welp, I‘m human after all. That means finding balance with stuff you wanna do and goals you wanna reach. Sometimes I have to prioritize cutting calories even though I want to eat that bar of chocolate. Other times I just don’t care. And that’s ok - maybe even the beauty of it all: I am in charge.

That lesson took me approximately 13 years to learn. And it still doesn’t give me the tranquility I hoped for.

Now I wouldn’t exchange those years for anything, just because of all the fun I had, limits I broke, and friends I made. I learned to not be in a rush and if I had only one advice for you it would be this: take your time and enjoy the ride (yes, that als includes the parts where you’re suffering).

While I am speaking of training, there’s an awfully close parallel to life itself. The urge to rush towards our goals makes us lose sight of the things we so desperately fight to see.

What I am trying to tell you is this: I learned many things in the last one and a half decades. A lot of it is absolutely irrelevant for you. A lot of it might be helpful, though. At least for some of you. So if you don’t mind, I’ll share my thoughts. And if you do mind, - I can’t think of a funny punchline right now.

That’s it. If you made it all the way 'til here: thank you, I appreciate it.
