What a magical time at @awoolenaffair !✨

We are still smiling, and our hearts are full. ❤️ We are amazed and so grateful for the number of people who stopped by our booth, shared their beautiful knits, squished our yarn, and greeted us with the biggest smiles. Every hug, every story, every conversation reminded us just how far our little story has traveled. And honestly, there is nothing more special than meeting the people who have become part of it.

A huge thank you to Catherine of @brooklyngeneralstore for putting together what was probably one of the best-organized events we’ve ever attended. 👏

Marta, the youngest member of our team, flew all the way from Italy to join us and had the best time meeting so many wonderful knitters. 🇮🇹🧶

And a very special thank you to Raffaella of @chidesignindigo for sharing our booth with her beautiful naturally dyed accessories, and to @olgaputanodesigns for jumping in and helping us exactly when we needed it most. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

We came home with tired feet, happy memories, and hearts overflowing with gratitude. Thank you for making this weekend so special. We’re already looking forward to the next time we get to squish yarn and share stories together!

All the friends made the freezing cold and insane crowds all worth it!!

My Rhinebeck sweater this year was Rhinebeck Sweater from @knitcollage with wool locks needle punched around the collar. Hat yarn and pom is all @vida_lifestyle
And last pic I’ve got the makings of the #grannystripeshawl using all sparkle pinks and creams and mauve minis…LOVE this project and don’t want it to end!!!

Twenty three years of knitting and finally my first ever #RhinebeckSweater!!! The #OlgaJacket by @olgaputanodesigns was such a crazy fun knit and if you look at the last two pics we got to meet her (she was such a gem!) and other Olga Jackets in the wild. Can’t wait for 2027 😍

Here’s an old insta-style snap of one of my latest projects. I really should have a steaming cup of coffee on there and maybe some dried flowers casually laying on the table. Maybe next time! In other news, I made that table runner, only requirement was to include the monarchs for early autumn. Very fun! Nearly as fun as this knit project. It’s Olga’s Purse by @olgaputanodesigns which she just released this week. Go grab the pattern and raid your yarn stash for a handful of colors to get creative with!

My version was knitted in Good Wool by Purl Soho in vintage Rose,Desert blue, Pink Dawn, lemon Meringue, Driftwood gray and Freshwater Blue color.

Vigna Sweater designed by @olgaputanodesigns 💕💖

After many months of test knitting this beautiful design in secret it is now released!! A gorgeous and fun to knit colorwork yoke followed by relaxing stockinette. I love it!

For the yarn, I went with Merino Uno by @lanagrossa for the MC and hand-dyed Silkhair by @lanagrossa held together with Merilin by @isageryarn for the MC.

I am so happy with the result!

Ad// I’m so excited to share the cutest little test project—Olga’s Purse by @olgaputanodesigns !

I loved the look of the Olga’s Jacket pattern but knew I wouldn’t have the patience for it. This project allowed me to learn the techniques in a much smaller project. It was a lot of fun, and I loved that I could sit down and knock out a section or two of the purse in one sitting. It’s great for working on episodically!

If you’ve got sport-weight leftovers or scraps sitting around, this is a great way to use them! You need 312 yards of your MC (that was 2 and a smidge more 50 g balls of @knit_picks Wool of the Andes Sport I used) and then less than one ball of all your other colors. The pattern calls for 6 colors, but you can do your own thing. I only used 4 colors per side, and used a different MC for each side because I didn’t plan properly and didn’t have enough yarn for the same MC!)
