There’s something extra special about giving a gift you made with your own hands.

Join us this October as we welcome Jennifer of Olio Skin to the Folk School for Handcrafted Holiday Soap Making!

Jennifer will guide us through the traditional art of cold-process soap making, from choosing scents and colors to adding botanicals and natural exfoliants. You’ll create approximately 1.5 pounds of your very own soap—enough for about eight guest-size bars!

And the timing couldn’t be better. By making your soap in October, it will have plenty of time to cure before the holidays, ready to wrap up with a little ribbon and tuck into stockings or give to someone special.

We love bringing back practical, beautiful skills that were once part of everyday life, and soap making is certainly one of them.

Friday, October 23 OR October 30
6–8 PM | $75
All materials included. Beginners welcome!

Reserve your seat at handcraftrevival.com. Find the class through the link in our bio.

**Changes have been made! Check our website for the most up to date classes and events***

Fall is coming to the folk school. 🍂

Our Fall Session is now open, and this one feels especially full of the things we love about Handcraft Revival — learning old skills, making things slowly, gathering around a table, and passing handcraft from one person to another.

This fall you’ll find:

Knitting + crochet
Felting + wool studies
Sewing
Stained glass
Cyanotype
Junk journaling
Seasonal Folkcraft Socials
After-school clubs
Homeschool handwork
Community gatherings + swaps
…and quite a bit more still to come.

Some classes are an evening to try something new. Others give you time to really settle into a skill. And some are simply an excuse to come make things in good company.

You don’t need to already be “crafty.” Beginners are very much welcome here.

Fall registration is open now at Handcraft Revival.

Come learn something worth knowing. 🤎
