🎨 History in the making! 🖌️ Our hallways are looking a little more revolutionary this week! We are so proud of our 2nd and 3rd grade artists for completing our commemorative 250th Anniversary Mural under the lead and guidance of the super talented Caren Frost-Olmsted. The final brushstrokes were placed on Monday, officially kicking off our Morristown 250 celebrations in the most vibrant way possible. A huge thank you to the Morris Educational Foundation (MEF) for their generous donation, which made this special 250th celebration project possible. We also want to extend a special thanks to Riccardi Brothers for donating the paint! This mural serves as a beautiful reminder of our community's rich history and the bright future our students are building every day. Be sure to check it out next time you're in the building! This is Caren Frost-Olmsted's third mural at NPS!!! Caren, thank you for helping make our school & community a more beautiful place! #Morristown250 #NormandyParkSchool

We are beyond excited to share that @olmstedmurals is officially on-site and working on our brand-new community mural! This project has been a dream of ours, and seeing it finally come to life is bringing so much color and energy to our halls. 🙌 A Huge Thank You A massive shout-out to our incredible parent volunteers. We couldn’t do this without your time, your messy hands, and your dedication to making our school a more beautiful place. 🖌️ Coming Up Next... The fun is just beginning! Flew to NJ to spend the day at the King Spa & Sauna with my friend on her birthday, resurrecting an 8 yr tradition of celebrating our birthdays together at the Korean Spa. The women’s only level is the wet part, with hot and cold tubs plus a steam room. 🚿 🧼 The upper levels have an Amethyst cave 💜, a Mineral Salt, a Gold Room 🏆the Oven room 🔥 and even an Ice room 🧊 We had a delicious vegan lunch in the cafeteria 🍜 followed by a nap under the infrared lights!!! ❤️ 💡 If you haven’t been it’s a Must Go, there’s one in Queens as well! 🛁 💜 ♒️ (Insider tip, check Groupon for deals, on weekends there is a free shuttle from the City) My friend Caren is an incredible muralist 🎨check out the work she does in schools and communities in the NJ/NY area @olmstedmurals #kingspa

This small design project was completed two years ago almost to the day. We edited existing accessories and simplified this space but still kept the home's authenticity. The end result is a cozy Cognac room for this close family with young adult children. It's amazing what the right colors and treatment of materials can do. We don't usually post the before photos but swipe to see because this one is remarkable. #interiorsdesign, #asidnj, #njasidinteriordesigner, #crateandbarrel, #olmstedmurals

A heartfelt thank you to our HSA for leading the Cafeteria Mural Fundraiser at the School of Saint Elizabeth! 💛💙 We’re especially grateful to all the parents who generously donated to include Sister Martha on our cafeteria mural. Sister Martha is truly the heart of our school—her unwavering faith, kindness, and love for every student and family make her an irreplaceable part of the School of Saint Elizabeth. We are so proud to honor her with a permanent place on our mural, where her presence will continue to inspire generations to come. A huge thank you as well to all the families who participated in this fundraiser to have their family names added to the wall. Your support means so much, and now your names are a lasting part of our school’s story. These names are more than just writing on a wall—they are a tribute to the love, commitment, and legacy each family brings to our school community. The cafeteria is now a vibrant and meaningful space, filled with the names of those who help make the School of Saint Elizabeth such a special and faith-filled place. A special thank you to muralist Caren Olmsted @olmstedmurals and her assistant Rylie Severino for their incredible work. As the original artist behind the mural, Caren returns every few years through this cherished tradition to add new names and meaningful touches—including this year’s beautiful portrait of Sister Martha. We are so fortunate to have her talent and dedication continue to brighten our school. This beloved fundraiser returns every few years, so be on the lookout for your chance to add your family to the mural in the future! #schoolofsaintelizabeth #bernardsvillenj #faithinresults #catholiceducation #communitysupport #gratitude #saintspride #lastinglegacy #familytradition #sistermarthalove #ourfamiliesourfoundation

Send your form & money to the Catena Main Office or venmo JJCPto. There are a limited number of books left. 📚💚 A special thx to all of our volunteers, too! We hope you're enjoying the experience as much as we are. Family members who would still like to participate can call the Catena Main Office to sign up. 💚 We hope to see you soon!
