A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and special thanks to our co-hosts and guest speakers for helping make the evening so memorable.

Until next time. ✨

We sat down with @oluseyio — filmmaker, tech guy (his words), and one of ours! His films have screened at some of the biggest festivals out there, including the Pan African Film Festival, Essence, and Black Harvest Film Festival.

As a filmmaker, his focus is on the experiences of Black and Brown communities, specifically the narratives that get overlooked. His latest film “A Beauty Supply in Queens” is currently available to watch on all American Airlines flights — both local and international. So if you’re flying soon, make sure to give it a watch!

This is People of NIN where we get to know the members at the heart of the community! Keep an eye out for more features.

2025.

My son started skiing. Made new friends and spent time with life long ones. Worked. Played. Traveled. Wrote a lot and didn’t hate most of it.

Progress was made but it was slow.

I cried more. Laughed harder. Dreamt bigger.

I shot a new short film and got to tour another one across the country alongside incredible people.

Business sucked but there was work done to be proud of with ppl I’m fortunate to call collaborators and friends.

Glad to be loved and to love more.

May I only get better at it. Be happier with less while still trying be more.

Here’s to new plans. Bigger dreams. More to create.

Thank you to all who were a part of it whether big or small. There were many of you. Too many to encapsulate in a few picture and for that I’m lucky.

Much love and Happy New Year.
