There is no finish line.

Only the relentless pursuit of becoming stronger, faster, and better.

From the water to the road, every session has a purpose. Every sacrifice builds something greater.

Two athletes. One mission. No limits.

THE ROAD IS JUST BEGINNING.

Strength Is Forged. Not Inherited.

I AM A CHICAGO MARATHON FINISHER!!! 🏅😭❤️

I came to Chicago with one goal: to cross that finish line before the cutoff time.

I knew eight weeks of training weren’t going to work miracles. I knew my body had been through a lot. So I chose to be realistic with my expectations, but intentional about my experience.

Before the race, I told @iam.sarrrah that my intention for the day was simple: to have as much fun as possible and to feel as much gratitude towards my body as I possibly could.

And oh, Chicago, did you deliver! ❤️

The crowds, the energy, the strangers cheering, the incredible women stopping me to take photos of my shirt and its message. I came here running for women with endometriosis, for every woman who has been told “it’s just period pain.” And today, I felt that message being seen, celebrated, and carried through the streets of Chicago.

The first half felt like flying. The second half humbled me, especially under that blazing sun. But somewhere along those 42.195 kilometres, I was reminded that running isn’t always about how fast you finish. Sometimes it’s about how much you allow yourself to feel along the way.

And then there are my people. ❤️

My friends @dinayehiamostafa @s.shourbagy Cole, Amna, and Kaiyan, who are so much more than family, who drove four and five hours from Wisconsin and Indiana, stood for hours in the heat, cheered their hearts out, and made me feel like the luckiest runner on that course. You were the absolute STARS of my day. I will never forget the love you showed me.

I came here to finish a marathon. I leave with a heart so full I can barely put it into words.

Chicago, you gave me so much more than a medal. ❤️

Can’t wait to be back in Cairo and celebrate with my boys @mohamedheshamamin and Nadimi.
