🌿 My Favorite Fresh Hops of 2026🌿

Sorted by style, these are the most palate pleasing creations of the season that truly blew me away.

It was a better than average season from what I sampled and while there's some obvs bias here, this year, more than ever, I returned again and again to my favorites.

If I completely missed something, feel free to chime in via the comments 🍻

Record:
Mac Miller - The Divine Feminine
2016 Warner Bros. Records

Genre: Alternative Hip-Hop

Standout tracks: Dang!, Stay, Butterflies

Quick Facts: Released on September 16, 2016, through REMember Music and Warner Bros. Records, „The Divine Feminine” is the fourth studio album by American rapper, producer, and musician Mac Miller (Malcolm James McCormick). Executive produced by Miller, the project was recorded between 2015 and 2016 across various professional recording facilities in New York City and Los Angeles, utilizing extensive live instrumentation that fused alternative hip-hop, jazz rap, neo-soul, and funk. The album achieved strong commercial and critical success, debuting and peaking at no. 2 on the US Billboard 200 and reaching no. 1 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Pressing: 2026 10th Anniversary Indie Exclusive pressing on clear and ruby vinyl. Paper thin jacket, printed inner sleeves. Mastered from digital, cut by Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling Sound, pressed at GZ. Unfortunately this is a do not buy. The mastering is good (though streaming offers a bit deeper bass), but the records are full of clicks and pops.

Name: Yeti Pecan Mud Cake
Brewery: Omnipollo (Stockholm, Sweden) & Great Divide Brewing Company (Denver, Colorado)
Style: Stout (Imperial)
ABV: 11%

You know what? Let's do another collab! Just like yesterday, a collab involving Omnipollo. This time they're teaming up with Great Divide for an impy stout. Picked up from Systembolaget, the Swedish state monopoly store.

It pours black with a thin tan head that immediately disappears. Nose is chocolate, toasted marshmallow and nuts.

Taste is chocolate, marzipan, dried fruit and licorice. Nutty and woody.

Sweet on the palate with low carbonation. Medium long aftertaste of chocolate and marzipan.

Nice. A solid impy stout. 4 out of 5.

Снощи се сетих, че от края на миналата година притежавам свещ. Свещникът си го направих по-късно, но сега се замислих дали да не преправя и кенчето. Also ..... @beer.basta.rds вече са избрали талисман на евровизията 😁
