One More Productions at The GEM Theatre in GG. Quality theater in OC since 2004.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well my back has been out for more than a week, so it’s been far too much time laying in bed. Managed to get out for the night with my love @katastrophic_kiwi and her sister Gina, to watch a play that her husband @jonmoney is in. Batboy was absolutely hilarious and so well thought out. This was the second production that we went to see at the Gem Theatre @ompatthegem and can’t wait to go back. The entire vibe of this place was amazing and full of really talented actors. Until next time!

Half boy, half bat—but who’s the real monster? 🦇

Bat Boy: The Musical brings dark humor, unexpected heart, and a whole lot of small-town secrets to The GEM Theatre in Garden Grove!

Based on a story from the tabloid Weekly World News, this horror-comedy rock musical follows Edgar, a boy discovered in a cave who just wants to fit in. But as fear and prejudice take hold, the townspeople might be scarier than his fangs. 👀

Add this one to your spooky-season theatre plans, and save this reel for your next OC theatre night!

📍 The GEM Theatre • 12852 Main Street, Garden Grove
📅 Now playing through October 25, 2026

@ompatthegem - OPENING WEEKEND of BAT BOY.
OCT 9 to Oct 25
.
It’s a dark musical comedy——you know this story: outsider makes a whole town question themselves. A helping mother and a teenage daughter who falls in love. There’s great ensemble numbers and the characters take themselves so seriously it’s VERY FUNNY.
