HEY look at this foster dog! 🖤

I was lucky enough to be Foxmoor’s temp foster for a few days while his foster parents were out of town! He is 100% an EASY BUTTON dog! Crate trained, potty trained, non destructive in the house, this boy is truly a dream! He loves to cuddle (although not always aware of his size 🤣) and is always up for a game of tug and fetch. He can also easily self entertain by chewing nylabones or throwing around his stuffies (under supervision of course). He’s only been out of the shelter a few days so hasn’t been introduced to any dogs yet, but did well at the shelter and displays friendly behavior on walks. He was completely undisturbed by fireworks and had no complaints about being left on his own for a full work day. Foxmoor does display prey drive towards squirrels and other small animals, so he would probably need a kitty free home. He is also still a puppy at just a year and can get a little mouthy during play, but listens so well to redirection and guidance. No resource guarding and respectful of boundaries!

Y’all I could go on and on about how good this boy is! He is also absolutely gorgeous with his jet black coat, I affectionately called him my hellhound due to his regal appearance, although his derp does show through occasionally 🤪 I think he would fit wonderfully into any kind of home, perhaps with older kids just due to his size and occasional mouthiness.

let’s make this Sweetness’ freedom day 💖

They named me Sweetness for a reason 💕. I’m a little 38-lb girl with the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. I wag my tail the second I see you, I’ll curl right up at your feet, and I promise to make every day brighter just by being in it.

The shelter has been so hard for me… I just want to be close to people and other dogs. When I got the chance to go on a Dog for the Day, I rode like a perfect lady in the car, greeted everyone so sweetly at the park, walked politely on my leash, and even enjoyed a burger patty at lunch 🍔🐶. Back at the house, I just curled up by my person’s feet and finally felt peace.

I’m dog-friendly, playful, love fetch and toys, and my cuddle game is unmatched. But the truth is… I don’t do well alone. I get anxious in the kennel and I dream of a family who’ll love me through it — maybe with another dog friend, or someone who’s home more often. I just want to be part of your life. 💞

Please don’t let me fade away here. I’ve got so much love to give, and I’m waiting for my chance. Will you be the one to take me home today?

Hi, I’m Solo!

Can you believe it? I finally have my own room. No loud barking, no tiny kennel—just me, my toys, and a soft bed to flop on after my zoomies. Life in a foster home is amazing, especially after being stuck in the shelter for SIX whole months. I was starting to wonder if anyone would ever notice me.

Now I get to do all my favorite things: sniff every inch of the sidewalk on walks (don’t rush me, I’ve got detective work to do), run happy circles in the yard, and show off my “sit” for treats. I’m a medium-energy kind of guy—I love playtime, but I’m also a pro at lounging.

And guess what? I do like to cuddle. Once I feel safe and cozy with you, I’m all about those snuggle sessions. I might start off a little independent, but when I love you, I really love you. I’ll nudge you for pets, curl up next to you, and give you my whole goofy, loyal heart.

So if you’re looking for a silly, affectionate adventure buddy who also knows how to chill and cuddle, I might just be your guy.

Update: SAFE IN FOSTER 🎉🎉 Only 10 hours left for Fidget Spinner

This is Fidget Spinner. Just over a year old—right around the age most dogs are finally settling into their homes, learning their families, and building confidence. But Fidget never got that chance.

Instead of that, he came into the shelter around his first birthday. And since then, life has been nothing but loud echoes, metal bars, and a wall. That’s all he sees all day. A blank wall. No people passing by. No dogs to watch. Just slow unraveling of a young, energetic dog losing his mind in confinement.

Fidget is not meant for this life. He’s a spirited, playful pup who lights up at the sight of a ball or a stuffed toy. He knows his basic commands, loves treats, and will chase a toy as if it’s the best thing he’s ever seen—because in here, it is.

But in a 4x4 kennel with no outlet, that energy builds. And now, the clock is running out.

Fidget Spinner has just 10 hours left. He doesn’t know that yet—he’s still waiting, still hopeful. But we do. And that means we have 10 hours to change the course of his story.

Fidget would thrive in a home with structure, playtime, and love. He would love an active family that understands his needs. Because of his size and energy, he may do best with older kids who can match his vibe. But he wants to be good. He wants to please. He just needs someone to see him beyond the kennel.

On Tuesday, this community came together and saved 60 dogs. Now it’s time to do it again—for Fidget, and for the last 5 urgent dogs still waiting before tonight’s 7pm deadline.
