My heart and stomach were full after our event last night centered around a specially curated dining and wine experience that featured 13+ different dishes prepared by Chef Ashley and @BlackGirlMagicWines. It was a beautiful evening out in Atlanta celebrating visionary Black Artists and Leaders co-hosted by @ZuCotGallery, @TILLMovie, K Period Media Foundation and @WeLeadWithLove alongside some incredible partners like @SouthernBlackGirls, Black Voters Matter, @McBrideSisters, @GetJetMag and more. 📸 by @CarmichaelGardenGroup.

My son and I were invited to a private screening and specially curated exhibit of @tillmovie by the film producers and my longtime friends and founders of @zucotgallery (Love to the Art Bros and Baba Henderson) I was pleased by the powerful witness this film bears to the legacy of Emmit Till and his mother (portrayed by our friend @danielledeadwyler ) who bravely stood in the midst of epic tragedy and dared the world to not look away from it. I can’t even imagine how Danielle or any of the actors prepared for their roles in this film. On this evening, I held my son extra close and loved on him extra hard.

Our Opening Night event for our #TILL: Impact of Images Signature Exhibit at @ZuCotGallery, the largest Black-owned fine art gallery in the Southeast, was one for the books. It was an inspiring night filled with live music, @BlackGirlMagicWines, good conversations and more. Congrats to our amazing collaborators at ZuCot Gallery, The Art Brothers Foundation and all of our Lead Partners on an incredible exhibit and opening night. The special exhibit is open through November 11, 2022. Photos by @Jas_Photo + @Rahsun.

My son and I were invited to a private screening and specially curated exhibit of @tillmovie by the film producers and my longtime friends and founders of @zucotgallery I’m so proud of the powerful witness this film bears to the legacy of Emmit Till and his mother (portrayed by our beloved friend @danielledeadwyler ) who bravely stood in the midst of epic tragedy to affect what would become global change. I can’t even imagine how Danielle or any of the actors prepared for their roles in this film. But in my opinion each honored the life and unflinching record of these events. On this evening, I held my son extra close and loved on him extra hard. What you won’t do for love?

Last Friday I hung out at the corner of Art Avenue & Democracy Drive. I like it there. The neighbors were very cool.

Go see #TILL. Check out @zucotgallery. Vote early for #staceyabrams and #warnockforsenate. Support dope artists like @bydvnlln. Be good to yourselves. And each other.

Looking back to the informative discussion from the @ARTiculateATL "Art of Collecting: IRL vs URL" panel this past summer

The discussion was rich, thought provoking, and dare we say "ARTiculate"
