We had a fun evening at the @newzealandfoodawards Congratulations to all the finalists and everyone who received a quality mark, it was great to be in the room with such awesome small producers who hold such value in their products. Amazing to hear from some that also take pride in the ways they work. That the hauora of tangata and Papatūānuku matter. This is the food industry that we want to be part of. Small, local producers who hold the integrity of their brand and showcase it through how they design their products. Thanks to all the judges for their time and expertise, celebrating 40yrs of the @newzealandfoodawards

Giulia traveled to the Solomon Islands and brought back CACAO. I arrived in New Zealand singing to it. Two different paths, one plant. And it’s not the only seed that binds us: many of us are updating beliefs on this planet, together. Giulia tells me something that weighs on her: how the industry separated the cocoa butter (the white part) from the powder (the brown part), added sugar and additives, and called it a dozen different names. But the medicine, however minimun, is still there. This seed has been in the Amazonian jungle for 6,000 years. Today it arrived fresh from the Solomon Islands 🌀 , and before we drink it, we sing to it. We sing a song by Miguel Molina, a Peruvian singer who also planted songs like seeds. I sang this same song to my mother at her funeral. She’s no longer here in physical form, but the maternal takes many shapes 🌱. Cacao knows this. The farmers know it. Those who resell the cacao paste know it too. Thank you, Cacao, for your long journey to this moment. Cleanse us. Heal us. 🤎 Special credits to: CasaNui, Dinny for be a weaver (and being in the background in creative duties) and Nico from far away for leaving his guitar available😅😘🎶✨ #SalomonIslandsCacao #CacaoFarmers #CacaoJourney #IndigenousWisdom #MiguelMolina

Meditative Art at @correctionsnz ✨Gratitude We complete this week two of our programmes offered at Auckland Prison and MECF with the support of @artscultureakl and in collaboration with New Zealand Howard League For Penal Reform 🙏 This has been an incredible opportunity and unique privilege to have accompanied our participants to journey within themselves, expressing their creative selves and listening to their vulnerable sharings. 🤩 This time in particular also marked the possibility of coming back to co-facilitate spaces with @onda.evolution in the most powerful and deepest possible way as we both navigate together alongside one another for our personal and professional growth. 💪 These are some of the valuable testimonials we have received to enrich our souls and motivate us to continue with our purpose to contribute to life through creativity for our individual and collective wellbeing. 🥰 ⭐️“Finding another way to look at myself could open my mind to look at the world differently.” ⭐️“It gives me the opportunity to slow down and contribute with others in a positive environment and like minded relationships and interactions.” ⭐️“This is a wonderful program that enables us to be vulnerable and discover new things about ourselves.”

Crafternoon 🙏Gratitude Yesterday we had a small gathering among friends to come together for an afternoon of art and craft accompanied by live music. 🎨🎶 It has been an introspective journey to share collectively while exploring ourselves in presence. A magical moment to witness our connection with our own self and the ripple effect of interconnections around us. 🥰 ✨ Thank you @pierro_lunaire for requesting this experimental experience together in the multiple ways in which we connected to explore and express ourselves creatively. Being part of your creative journey has been an honour while you’re moving beyond the limits of what music and art can do together. ✨ Thank you @onda.evolution for welcoming and hosting us at CasaNui. Giving space to our creative self to grow together within our community and letting us waive with one another. Your presence in my life has been a wonderful confirmation of how much we have grown as well with this project since the beginning of our connection and how it shaped part of who we are today thanks to it too. ✨ Thank you @thewarlock_music for saying yes to the power of music. Blending your essence to the present moment and flowing with the harmonious jam you all created with deep listening and by trusting the process. ✨Thanks to all the people who have been part of this little collective of human beings to spend time tuning with your inner child, your inner artist, your soul and yourself as a whole. Seeing you so immersed into the here and now while journeying with your artpiece, sharing space and heart together while merging with the music and the silence. There is an indescribable beauty in the way we can connect without using words yet our presence seems to be able to speak louder than our voices. This is definitely the beginning of something that will continue in whatever shape it will evolve from here… 🤩
