I am exactly where I’m supposed to be, at the exact time I’m supposed to be here. It also reminded me that I need to speak more, share more. More than anything, it reminded me to live in gratitude ❤️

This summer, the #MetallicFund returned with our Community Champs summer school programme, supported by @officialnocta. The initiative gave participants in Design, Art and Photography/Film the chance to meet and network with some of the best mentors in their field, while gaining practical tips and knowledge in their respective fields. It was amazing to see how well the students responded to the programme, and to have already witnessed a number of incredible opportunities that have come out of the experience for them. This Black History Month, we’re taking the programme a step further by offering grants to some of the students who attended the programme (more details to come). Our hope is that this programme inspires other brands & businesses to launch initiatives dedicated to uplifting young creatives, especially POCs and people from minority backgrounds. A huge thank you to everyone who made this programme possible, from NOCTA to our in-house team at Metallic Inc., and in particular the most amazing group of mentors: @alaska___alaska @lorenz.og @olaoluslawn @_teoni @mowalola @gabrielomoses @bouncecinemas letitiawright.

I got my seat at the table. And a night to remember it too. My final job for @metallicinclondon for @youtube @youtubemusic for the annual legacy party celebrating 50 Years of hip hop and UK rap’s input. With some amazing touch points across the incredible @royaloperahouse venue working with super producers ✨@missmorii @shannvwright @deltakzeta this was an incredible last journey in this role. With amazing talent support from @gb1k_ & @sharkkana and Having my bro @staroneuk kill it was a nice certifying moment of our mutual musical history together and booking the legend @ms_dynamite 🤌🏿🤌🏿 this really was a magical event 💫working with people who get each other, and try to celebrate the culture at all times. Finally, cant thank @sheniececharway enough for trusting me and the team! Still downloading from yesterday, Im readying myself for my next steps as a freelancer in talent. management, events, live , brand partnerships, curation and consultancy im gonna take a moment to celebrate myself for getting this far 🥂, and salute to my gs who are here for the journey not the destination
