A room full of creativity, connection and community

We were lucky enough to be invited to @theenrgspace for an evening hosted alongside @oneanother.community and @ccsocial101, bringing together some incredible Central Coast community builders and content creators.

An evening of sharing stories, exchanging ideas, making new connections and exploring opportunities to collaborate, all while enjoying the beautiful, relaxing facilities at The ENRG Space.

It was such a lovely reminder of how much talent, passion and creativity we have right here on the Central Coast.

Thank you for bringing us all together. We left feeling relaxed, inspired and excited for what's to come!

Last time we found the groups. This time we’re looking at where they happen.

Because community doesn’t only happen in community centres.

It happens on pickleball courts. In cafés. Coworking spaces. Wellness studios. Galleries. Workshops. Play spaces. Old cinemas.

These are some of the Central Coast places giving us a reason to leave the house, do something we enjoy and, quite often, meet someone while we’re there.

Because sometimes finding your people starts with finding somewhere worth showing up to.

We know we’ve missed some. That’s the point.

Some 🌸 flowers 🌸 are simply beautiful. Others carry a little more meaning.

Billy & Daisy and Luxe Collective are hosting a Pink Bloom Party to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research, support and awareness - and we would love for you to join us.

Dani from Billy & Daisy will guide us as we create our own gorgeous pink floral arrangements, with morning tea, bubbles, plenty of chatting and connecting with lovely people along the way.

But this morning is about so much more than flowers.

It’s about the women we love.
The women we’ve lost.

There is a very specific kind of confidence required to tell everyone your event is going to be incredible when approximately three people have bought tickets.

One of them is your mum.

One is your best friend.

And you have absolutely no idea who Dave is.

If you’ve ever built a community, hosted an event, started a club or tried to get people to actually show up IRL, you know this feeling.

The venue is booked.
The tables are set.
You’ve told the partner it’s going brilliantly.

Meanwhile, you’re refreshing the RSVP list every 11 minutes.

Community building is brilliant.

It can also be chaotic, lonely, admin-heavy and held together with spreadsheets, DMs and blind optimism.

We think the people doing the work of bringing people together deserve better tools to do it.

So that’s what we’re working on.

Most mums are already stretched to the limit. Work, school drop-offs, washing, mental load, caring for everyone else… and somewhere in between, trying to hold themselves together too.

Which is what makes the women who still find time to volunteer so incredible.

They’re not doing it because they have endless free time. They’re doing it because they care deeply about community, connection and giving back, even when life already feels full.

Our latest story speaks to local mums who are somehow managing to juggle it all while still showing up for others. And honestly? They deserve far more recognition than they get. @oneanother.community @rotarysouthpacific @womensresiliencecentre

What a week. The kind where you look back and think… how did I actually get through all of that?

From events to launches to premieres, it probably looks quite glossy from the outside. And don’t get me wrong, I’m so grateful to be in those rooms, meeting incredible people and doing what I love.

But what you don’t see is everything behind it.

The early mornings. The late nights. The constant juggling (single mum life is HARD!). The pressure to make everything land. The conversations, the logistics, the problem solving, the teamwork. None of this happens in isolation and I’m so aware of the amazing people I get to collaborate with who make it all come together.

This week has been full on. At times exhausting. But also incredibly rewarding.

There’s something really special about seeing things come to life that you’ve worked so hard on, and sharing those moments with people who just get it.

Feeling very grateful, slightly depleted, but very excited for what’s building.
