Guitar Pedals Made In Michigan
If It’s Too Loud, Turn It Down

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Big Thanks to @houseofguitars for an incredible deal on my new Les Paul Special. I haven’t been able to put it down and it has a sound that I’ve been chasing forever. My cat Waffles is really enjoying the case you found for it too.

09/19/2008 Metal Frat - Ann Arbor, MI

The Swellers

Shows in a dinning room with mattresses covering the walls will forever be some of my favorites. RIP Metal Frat. @jonodiener was always one of my favorite drummers to shoot. As I’ve said before, my memory sucks so I don’t know who else played this night. Pretty sure it was welcome week and Dave Kloc’s birthday party. Big thanks to my UofM friends for getting me into these shows/parties.

Using the HW-2 tonight. Harm’s Way has always had the most impressive tone out of any band on the road. Bo used to use two NS-2 noise suppressors just to get his HM-2 under control. This pedal is the swan song of all his mad man tone hunting. Excited to have an HM-2 pedal with this much versatility on my board.

“So disconnect for today… It’s okay to disconnect for today and put your worries away” 👨🏻🤩😎😜🫥

HAY GUYZZZ!!!! Jeff here, and I have two, count em, TWO quick updates on the resurgence of yours truly, which include the following:

1) I BOOKED A SHOW! This will be my first live performance in over two years and I’m beyond excited for how special this one will be for a myriad of reasons. Only hint, it’s in early-mid October! More details to come in the next couple weeks on when/where/why/how etc 🎃👻

2) I will be releasing a new song in late October! I have two that are cooking and I’m torn on which to release first… Look for an official announcement for release date sometime in September 👨🏻👨🏻👨🏻

Damn, it feels great to be back 😊😎

Until next time! - Dad out

Next up in the bass pedalboard rebuild: the overdrive shootout.

I pulled every one of the way too many drives I own out of the closet to test over the last week, then narrowed them down to this oddball assortment for a top four shootout. Four wildly different personalities that all offered something unique.

The @voidmanufacturing Djerk Off wins the Velcro, but the @onedereffects Chris Demakes lost by a margin that truly shocked me. That thing handled a low-B better than it had any right to.
