After three decades of explaining everything wrong with Australia, Pauline Hanson's One Nation has announced an ambitious new political strategy: asking Australians to explain everything wrong with Australia.

The party has launched What's Holding You Back?, an online initiative inviting voters to submit their grievances, frustrations and policy suggestions, apparently having exhausted the traditional One Nation approach of identifying a problem, blaming immigration and calling it a comprehensive economic plan.

“Politicians have stopped listening. One Nation has not,” Hanson declared, unveiling what party officials described as a revolutionary breakthrough in political engagement: a website containing a question.

The initiative promises to tackle housing affordability, energy prices, taxation, excessive regulation and the cost of living — issues One Nation has spent years discussing without allowing the inconvenience of detailed, independently costed solutions to interfere with the messaging.

“We're asking Australians to tell us what's wrong and what needs to change,” explained party strategist Darren Policytobeadvised.

“Previously, our approach involved telling Australians what was wrong and then getting extremely upset when economists asked how we intended to fix it. This is a significant evolution.”

Political observers have praised the initiative's efficiency, noting that outsourcing policy development directly to the electorate could substantially reduce the party's expenditure on research, consultation and having to understand complicated things.

At press time, party officials were reportedly preparing the next stage of their ambitious national consultation.
“WHAT SHOULD WE DO ABOUT IT?”
A spokesperson confirmed the follow-up website would be launched once somebody figured out how to turn the answers into a policy.

I don’t see myself as a politician. I see myself as an advocate.

I’m a true local of Essendon who has lived here for over 30 years, and I’m ready to fight for this community.
