I’m so f*ckin lucky. I rang in 40 on the beach, where all my different worlds collided and it was everything I could have asked for. Supremely lucky to have all of these amazing humans in my orbit that traveled from all over the globe to celebrate. Eternally grateful for all of the bday love and looking forward to this next decade + new adventures/memories that include you 🪩💕 big shoutout to @latka1209 and Brittany for pulling all the details together and @acastrianni for letting us invade!!

There’s also some Nashville work trip sprinkled in that preceded the birthday bonanza… I’ve got the greatest friends/coworkers that etched their place in the core memory bank.

Behind the scenes of Human Kaleidoscope…

Sometimes I dream up crazy things and people don’t come. Sometimes I dream up crazy things and they come make it better.

You can’t know what’s possible until you try ✨ 🌻 💛

Thank you, fellow crazy ones 🐒

📸 Shout out to @oriana.poindexter for capturing the moments so beautifully

“Human Kaleidoscope”
A movement arts project in celebration of interdependence, integration, and local community.

Directed and produced by Cristina Poindexter @mscristinapoindexter
Cinematography & editing by Kyle Ruddick @kyleinstagram
Enabled by dozens from the community
Music by @officialthewho @yaggerdang

Thank you to all those, near and far, who I feel honored to call part of the web of my human experience.

This piece emerged from my imagination as a way to celebrate my 35th birthday in a way that’s uniquely fun, meaningful, and memorable.

I envision a world in which we give tribute to milestones that fall outside the existing norms of celebration (weddings, promotions, graduations).

#HumanKaleidoscope is a creative way to do just that.

Weaving together aspects of myself, my passions, and my communities has been the art of my lifetime, and this is my way of celebrating an unseen process we are all going through.

Here’s to celebrating strength through inter-dependence. I hope this work finds its way to all those in need of the reminder that we are not alone.

About last weekend… 🥰 Thank you to all who came out to join the #HumanKaleidoscope project in honor of my 35th birthday. I’ll be sharing a segment of the finished piece later this week.

This was a project to celebrate community, integration, and interdependence in a creative way.

Weaving together a local community, in LA of all places, is not for the faint of heart, but it’s one of the keystones of a life well lived. It takes effort on all our parts, over and over again, to show up for each other in small and big ways, consistently.

My heart is so full feeling the support of this group coalesce around a little dream of mine🌻

Stay tuned for the Kaleidoscope work we made together later this week ✨

Thank you to all who joined….

some rooms hold you long after you leave them.
the elements of leadership series, is one of them.
it’s impossible to actually capture the energy that moved through us last month as we worked with the element of FIRE.
embodiment practices, self reflections, group and partner exercises, vulnerable shares…
so many little and big ways we tended to our flames, cultivated them, and learned how to use our own light for the things we want most.
tender moments and wild primal energy lit up the room.
most of what happened isn’t even in this video…
but this is an evening i’ll tuck into the pocket of my heart and hold dear forever. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

thank you @daphnezahara for the breath, and every single soul who showed up to tend their own flame.

WATER, our next element, is next tuesday 4.27 ~ if you’re close by and feel the current pulling, come on through.

Great companies rarely fail because of one mistake.

They fail when misalignment spreads across the system.

LEGO rebuilt its foundation — and the entire organization came back to life.

Alignment isn’t mystical. It’s measurable.

2025. Most beautiful, WOW-filled year of my life.
And this is just a blink of it.

So many moments never made it here.
Too busy living them to document.

People. Places. Quiet miracles.
Memories and magic that only exist in my mind, body and my heart.
