MEET RUXY

Ruxy from @onept.hk brings the energy from the very first warm-up and keeps everyone motivated through the workout, while making sure every rep is done properly.

She somehow manages to keep the session fun, even when it starts getting tough.

Meet Ruxy tomorrow at Peak Rise.

MEET BENNY

Co-founder of @onept.hk , freshly named in Prestige Hong Kong’s 40 Under 40, and the Aussie accent you will be hearing when the workout gets tough.

He is also the one making everyone hold a two-minute wall sit, so you will definitely remember him.

Catch Benny at the next Rise on October 24.

Is muscle becoming the new luxury? I think YES.

For decades, the female body ideal was largely about taking up less space. Now something interesting is changing.

Strength training is becoming aspirational. Women are talking about muscle, bone density, metabolic health, strength and what their bodies will actually be capable of decades from now.

Even a recent @voguemagazine is talking about the rise of the “muscle era.” And I think that shift is much bigger than an aesthetic trend…

Lately, I’ve gone from exercising to stay small to becoming much more interested in getting stronger, lifting heavier and building something I’ll actually want later.

Maybe the ultimate luxury isn’t being smaller. Maybe it’s having a body capable of carrying you through your life.

What is Peak Rise?

Presented by @blacksheeprestaurants in collaboration with @onept.hk and @ikigai.hk , Peak Rise is our monthly morning ritual at The Peak.

Start the day with a full-body workout with OnePT, followed by grounding with Ikigai, before gathering for a well-deserved breakfast at @falconehk .
