Gear I’ve been using lately. Just picked up this incredible utility shirt from the talented guys over @heatstrapsusa probably the most well made shirt I’ve ever worn.

The track is because I’m seeing @copelandband for like the 15th time this week.

Honestly I have spent years cycling hundreds of pieces of gear through my pockets, over time some things stayed longer and longer. They just felt RIGHT!
Now don’t go asking me to pick a favorite knife, I have tons that I love… but this carry here could take me the rest of my life.

The @opensealeather Gundeck mini is the perfect wallet for me.
The TiScribe is unfortunately my all time favorite pen design (seriously someone needs to start making them again!)
The @bigidesign Ti Field watch has been on my wrist for close to 2 years now, and it just hits right.
The @_okluma_ DC0 has been my favorite EDC light for years now.
And of course the new @onionjr X @bigidesign Manu is a highly capable blade that so far is proving to be an incredible utility focused design that might just crush all its competitors at its price point.
Wrapping up with the indomitable @fieldnotesbrand notebook, I have everything I need!

100 posts felt like a pretty good excuse to empty the drawers & put almost everything in one frame.

I’m sure I forgot a few pens somewhere, & there definitely wasn’t enough room for the coins & fidget sliders.

Looking at it all laid out like this is a little wild. Pieces have come & gone, tastes have changed, & I’ve gotten a lot more selective about what sticks around.

For post #100, I also wanted to take a minute to say thank you.

First, to my dad. He passed away six years ago, but a lot of my appreciation for tools, knives, gear, & the things we carry can be traced back to him. I wish he could see where this hobby, and this page, have gone. I still think about him daily, & I’m grateful for the things he passed down to me that have nothing to do with the gear itself.

To the makers, designers, modders, small businesses, & brands behind all of this, thank you for putting your time, ideas, skill, and personality into the things we get to carry and enjoy.

And to the EDC community, thank you. Over these 100 posts, I’ve gotten to know some genuinely good people. I’ve also watched people in this community go through health issues, hardships, difficult seasons, & loss, & I’ve seen the way people show up for one another through it. That has given this hobby a lot more meaning than I ever expected when I started posting pictures of knives & pocket junk.

Thanks to everyone who has followed along, liked a photo, left a comment, sent a message, shared some knowledge, traded gear, bought something from me, sold me something, or simply talked EDC with me.

The gear gave me a reason to start the page. The people, the stories, and the connections are what have made it worth continuing.
