Happy TOT, y'all!
And what a TOT it turned out to be....listen:

Today I was selected for the position of full-back for the national Pug World Cup selection, representing Brazil since I live here at the moment.

The talent scout Mr. Black Beans together with the President of the Brazilian National League, Mr. Pugadelli himself, came ALL the way from
Rio to watch me GO at the soccer field, MY SOCCER FIELD, where I grew up and played, ran and had my biggest zoomies since I was just a 10 weeks old wee pup, no bigger than a guinea pig.
Bit what's impressed them?
My zoomies, I'm small, fast and cute!

Of course, it was a long time ago, I was skinny, eyes crossed because I was tiny, but everyone (except my Dad) laughed at me and wondered why he adopted such an ugly Pug who was wobbly, looked weak, skinny as a sparrow. One eye pouted east and one west. But my Dad didn't laugh.
He said I was purebred and that I was left in the litter because no one wanted a skinny puppy with crossed eyes. But he also said that he knew that when I got some meat on my legs, my head would grow out of step with my body and the white membranes that Pug's have over our eyes would end up in place as my eyes would pop out and become big just like they should be on a Pug. He also said that my eyes weren't crossed, it just looked that way because of the white membranes that hid half of my eyes. My Dad even defended me. against the rest of the family and said:
- She passed the vet inspection without remarks!

When Dad were to get me chipped, my vet said I needed to grow for at least 3 more weeks because I was so skinny. She said that since I didn't have no fat on my neck yet, it couldn't be done, it would be very painful for me. But that day my vet recommended a change of puppy food to one that was for French Bulldog pups and let me eat that for 3 weeks. Sure enough I the growing fast and everyone was proved wrong.

Who laughs now?
I'm a member of The Pugaiada Maceió Club and I'm a proud member of the Pug World Cup selection, representing Brazil now! ⚽️ 🏆 🇧🇷
