GODPARENT Bookings lands in Berlin for a two night residency at Laden 2.

Across Friday and Saturday evenings, we move between live performance, underground music culture, radio, storytelling and transmission.

FRIDAY 26.06.26 - NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS

A night dedicated to strange sounds, underground music culture and neglected corners of the record shelf.

GODPARENT opens proceedings with a juxtaposed selection spanning post-punk and citation, heavy riffs and industrial distortion before two special live performances from:

+ Lord Tusk (Live)
+ The Lunacy of Flowers (Live)

Three distinct approaches to sound in one room: records as conversation, live electronics as transformation, bass and songs as vessels for atmosphere and feeling.

SATURDAY 27.06.26 - CITY TRANSMISSIONS

Radio leaves the airwaves and enters the room.
Lord Tusk presents Ultra Wave Visions - a guided journey through the aliases, projects, recordings and influences that have shaped his work over the years, accompanied by personal selections, stories and reflections.

Onya Dev presents Strange Pleasures - a special live and in-person edition of her long-running Radio Quantica programme, exploring unexpected sounds, hidden connections and the joy of musical discovery.

Part listening session, part conversation, part transmission.

✩ HEY ✩ Join us tonight at 9pm on @resonancefm we're buzzed to have a guest show from @onyadev warming up for our FUNDRAISER coming up in 2 weeks in support of our beloved radio! link in bio ⇧⇧⇧

We're pleased to announce that Onya will be djeing alongside synaptic member @ali_mono

Onya Dev has been active in Lisbon and London DIY & experimental over the past few years, her show on Rádio Quântica Strange Pleasures threads together cinematic experiments in dance music and contemporary classical. Playing shows across Europe and a brief affair in Japan alongside Lil Mofo, Lukid, and Tapes, her odd-leaning style moves from heavier dub sounds, to strange and pleasurable saunters through the underground

The first time I heard @sugiproject describe their work as “urban acupuncture,” it stopped me in my tracks.

Think: tiny, precise interventions of native pocket forests planted like pressure points in a city... releasing wildness and life force back into the ecosystem 💫

That idea has stayed with me. It reminds me that transformation doesn’t always require sweeping change — sometimes it’s the small, intentional acts that ripple the farthest.

That’s why I’m so excited to join @sugiproject Talks on September 2, with:
🌀 technologist @ariasaleja, founder of @nowadaysonearth
🌱 horticulturalist @barknmoss, @sugiproject's UK Forest Lead
📢 moderated by @onyadev...who’s come up with some brilliant questions

We’ll be discussing "Biodiversity & Belonging"...AKA what it means to feel at home in an urban environment alive with more than just concrete and commerce.

🎟️ Tickets are available now....go get em!!!

From building climate resilience and restoring lost biodiversity to mitigating the mental health crisis in our cities, we’ll explore how community action, science, and Nature unite to reshape what cities can become, and how we can better work together to make it happen.

Somos muitas, muitas mil 🌹
