POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On Friday we welcomed Cooksey @oohnicetouch to Buick for a brilliant workshop all about creating better video content.

We tried microphones, autocues and interviewing each other ...picked up loads of tips.

I think the biggest blocker for most of us isn’t the equipment or knowing what to say. It’s confidence.

We all overthink how we look and sound, worry about getting everything perfect, and then don’t post anything at all!

So perhaps the answer is simply to post more and think a little less. The more we do it, the less scary it becomes.

A huge thank you to Cooksey for sharing his expertise, and to everyone who came along and got involved. 💗

Friday 18th Sept 10-12 at Buick.

You'll learn how to set up a simple, good-looking shot, use autocue without sounding like you're reading it, light yourself properly on a budget, get decent audio, and come across as watchable on camera. It's hands-on and interactive, so you'll actually get in front of a camera and try it out in the room, not just sit and listen.

Hosted by Cooksey, who has spent almost two decades working on video and visual effects for the worlds biggest brands. Now runs Nice Touch, an AI video editing platform. He runs hands on sessions for anyone from 5 years old to 105, where you can learn to capture quality video no matter your equipment or experience.
