I said I was going to do it. Here’s a firehawk terminator. Nearly 6 years since I last painted a firehawk! Was fun but also a challenge to go back to space marines after so long. While I like 40k, but there much more challenging to make interesting with smooth shapes.

So I promised a photo and while I still fix some bits I will post what I have. My offering for mpo Bristol 2026. The orange returned!! (Running gag to paint orange for mpo) though no fluro this time. A first for me as I digitally sculpted the base for this. Lots of fun learning a new skill and want to produce more bases. Can’t wait for tomorrow to see everyone’s pieces!

Just a few pics from #mpo today, will add more when I can. Tried to add the artist where I know who they are, apologies if I missed anyone.

Next project from my table. With the deadline of adepticon coming up I didn’t have too much time to delve into a in-depth big project like the Cathay. So I thought I’d paint an epic leviathan. Which as you can see evolved into its own little dio of some sons of Horus at a former imperial fist bastion. Was fun to paint but the scale is brutal. Can’t wait to paint something bigger.

So we’re have I been, painting that’s where! I kind of took a break from posting frequent updates to try taking time for myself to paint. And this is the outcome, cathay 2.0. Taking my piece from last year and refining what I learnt further. First outing will be the @squidmarminiatures online comp then on to adepticon! 👀

Work by and in order;

I’m very happy to show you the latest miniature I’ve finished for the incredibly talented @op_minis . This version of Fulgrim is very much intended to be an early version of the Primarch, well before his tragic fall to chaos. This has been a great little project and I’m very happy with the outcome, the sub assemblies were a tough little challenge (see last pic) but I learned a lot working things out.
