Officially committed to the University of Texas! 🤘🧡
I’m extremely proud to announce that I’ll be continuing my baseball career at Texas. This is a goal I’ve worked toward for a long time, and I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me get to this point.
Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has pushed me, believed in me, and kept me locked in along the way. I wouldn’t be here without the people who have supported me on and off the field.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and ready to get to work.
Hook ’em! 🤘

One of the hardest things about traveling to fish the @bamtrail_ Super 60 is missing special events. I left for the Columbia River at 2am the morning of my wife Tori’s birthday. It sucked but I had to wish her a happy birthday anyway I could. Big thank you to BAM for the platform and ability to wish my wife a happy birthday. #fishing #bassfishing #largemouthbass #smallmouthbass #bassboat

THERE’S NO BAD DRILL. THERE’S A WRONG TIME, PLACE, OR ATHLETE.

Knowing more exercises, drills, certifications, or models doesn’t automatically make someone a better coach.

The real skill is application.

Who is this appropriate for?
What are we trying to change?
When does it belong in the program?
And how does it need to be adjusted for the athlete standing in front of us?

Because the same drill can be incredibly valuable for one athlete and completely miss the mark for another.

In Episode 64 of KIMEcast, Ryan Mattheus of Optimum Athletes and Dr. Evan Hauger close out the conversation with an important reminder: good programming isn’t about labeling exercises as “good” or “bad.”

It’s about understanding **the right intervention, for the right athlete, at the right time.**
