AURALITY - SEPTEMBER 2026

September’s edition of Aurality on Frisky Radio is here — and it’s groovier than your “viral” AI-generated 80s current trend. =D

The timing feels pretty right.

This month’s selection has been heavily influenced by the last few weeks - from Croatia and Prog Heaven to the sounds, energy and beautiful chaos of returning to my homeland Bulgaria.

The result is exactly where my head is at right now:

Deep. Groovy. Funky. Proggy. Diverse.

Just how I like it.

A few serious rabbit holes were explored while digging for this one, uncovering some insanely good music along the way. I’ve also been lucky enough to receive some absolute gems directly from artists and producers - something I never take for granted.

Full respect to everyone making this music and to the labels continuing to push these sounds forward. Without the artists, producers and labels, there’s no journey to take in the first place.

So, thank you.

Music this month from:

Ewan Rill, Lev4n, Christopher Mohn, King Freak, Chelu Garcia, Franco Botto, ZÆNTH, Garance, Niki Sadeki, Dachshund, Cristina Tosio, His&Hertz, Ece Yilmaz, Toprak Bariis, Enamour, SAM SHI, Bonafique, Niv Ast, Halo Varga, Guy J, Mariano Malvica, KISHI, Lexicon Avenue, Francesca Lombardo, Birds Of Mind, Selim Sivade, Petar Dundov, Sean McClellan, Matt Black, Yves Eaux, Tash, HAFT, Starving Yet Full, Aiwaska, Ledi Cannit, @marcromboy , Rod V & @opusklien

Aurality - tonight, 7PM UK. Exclusively on @friskyradio

Headphones on. World off.

Feel Frisky.
Feel Groovy.

The full recording from my first guest appearance back in my homeland is now up on SoundCloud.

A proper night of music, with @blankstereobg and the main man himself, @elliot_moriarty , setting the tone and delivering superb sounds throughout.

Two hours of groovy, rolling selections, deep cuts and some seriously good music from start to finish.

Very happy to finally have this one out there.

Hope you dig it 😁

RFTM015 presents @opusklien with the Orwellian E.P. This marks Opus Klien’s debut on RAFT Music, and it’s a fitting one. Trippy, hypnotic, and totally unique, this is the sound for anyone who lives for that deep, warped groove. If this is your world, you’re going to find exactly what you’re looking for here!

Swipe and listen to the snippets. Link in bio. Enjoy the ride.

RAFT Music announces the label premiere of Opus Klien, the electronic live project of Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter. While Opus Klien itself is still a young project, both artists are seasoned veterans of the scene, with performances at Berghain, Tresor, Fabric, Rex Club, and The Warehouse Project, and releases on Planet E, R&S, Cocoon, and Tresor under Dave Lievense’s alter ego Psycatron.

Opus Klien’s music captures exactly what RAFT looks for in its artists: a singular, unmistakable signature that doesn’t follow trends but sets its own course. “The Secret” is dreamy yet trippy, plays out the contrast between harmonic pads and warped, twisted sounds, letting the two sit together in a way that feels coherent and homogenous rather than conflicting. It stands as a special closing track and another clear confirmation of Opus Klien’s own musical handwriting.

Release date: 4th of September

🇨🇦 Vancouver!! It's been a while since we have thrown down a proper party in your amazing city! The past few years have produced some challenges but we won't stop with our objectives . Our aim is to give you the best experience possible and continue to build a community of music lovers, DJs, producers, promoters, visual artists and anyone involved in the creative industries. Most importantly sound heads!!❤️

We've just gone and booked a cruise with one of our most loved headliners returning for a special all day and night party. Our plan is to have a special ticket that admits you to both events. Purchasing an Early ticket for the full day helps us keep the cost as affordable as possible. Please consider this when you're getting yours! It also takes the stress off covering the costs(hiring cruise ships and their staff isn't cheap!!) 🙈

The party will continue directly after the boat in an absolute beauty of a new venue(with Funktion One sound). This night and day will be remembered for a long time! 🔥

Get September 12th marked in the diary and we will be back with lineup and ticket info as soon as possible ❤️🇨🇦
