Víctor Güell
Founder, Oracles Productions

Spanish, Malta based for the last five years, and a decade deep in the electronic music scene as a DJ, curator and organiser. Through Oracles Productions he has built a platform that connects music, art and community through carefully curated experiences, and has become a real part of Malta's cultural and nightlife scene.

He is also Events Manager at SiGMA World, where the same instinct for live experience goes into producing large scale international networking events.

Oracles is working with us on the closing party at Tortuga Beach, produced together with Big Ron's. Víctor is in the booth for that one and also joins one of the summit panels, speaking as an artist and curator.

He joins us in Malta on 8 and 9 October. Tickets via the link in bio.

Two days of discussions, creative ideas, and networking with artists and grass-roots organisations working across music, arts, culture and entertainment.

One shared mission: reimagining a new tomorrow across Malta’s creative and night time industries.

The Malta Festival of Ideas extends its gratitude to the @goodnightoutcampaign and @oracles.prod for their unique input in transforming our events into immersive artistic and educational experiences.

This event would have not been possible without @hideout.mt , @tuff_drinks , @hole_in_the_wall_malta , @artscouncilmalta , @undergroundsound.eu and @l.a.systems .

Thank you also to @brianjames_u and Sunshine Mo ( @simoncutajar @dan.diacono.haha @adam.cuti ) for the warm and uplifting music.

We look forward to resuming the conversation in 2027 with the publication of the report: reimagining Malta’s night-time economy by 2030.

Untill then .. keep on dancing ;)

Before A Good Night Out, we gathered at Hole in the Wall for a closed day of talks, presentations, and workshops, digging into the questions shaping Malta’s events industry.

Honest conversations about where the scene is, where it’s heading, and what it takes to build a healthier, more sustainable night-time culture.

This is the groundwork behind the festival: transformation begins with an idea.

On Friday 11th October, between the talks and panels, Sunshine Mo fill the pauses with live sound, rock and funk with elements of folk, keeping the energy flowing as one conversation ends and the next begins.

What started as a creative side project, a few friends developing songs and growing together as musicians, has become one of the local acts to watch. Giving space to a new generation of talented Maltese musicians is exactly what this event is about, and Sunshine Mo are a perfect example of it. They’re currently working on their debut EP, due towards the end of the year.

Come hear them at A Good Night Out.

On Friday 11th September, The Festival Of Ideas ends the best way it could: with two of the artists who built Malta’s electronic scene, together on one vinyl set.

@owenjays has been a vital force in Malta’s underground for more than three decades, a DJ, producer, label owner, and promoter whose roots run from the golden era of house to the Detroit and Chicago sounds that still move through his sets. From residencies at home to the legendary Tresor and Panorama Bar in Berlin, depth has always been at the core of his selections.

@brianjames_u stepped into the scene in 1989 and never left, a name synonymous with dark, deep sound and a genuine pioneer of electronic music in Malta. Countless sets across the island and beyond, and still one of the finest techno selectors around.

Two pioneers. Vinyl only. One legendary b2b to send the night off.
