Making this album has been such a meaningful journey, and I’m incredibly grateful to all the amazing people who helped bring this music to life. Huge thanks to my producer, @matwiljazz, and @origin_records for believing in this project, and to my wonderful band for bringing their artistry and unique voices to my compositions.

For your Grammy Consideration: I’m very grateful to share that Mood Ellington has been submitted for consideration in three categories for the GRAMMY® Awards.

This album was an enormous undertaking and represents the work of an extraordinary group of musicians, arrangers and engineers who gave so much of themselves to this music. I’m particularly proud to see Alan Broadbent’s arrangement of “A Flower Is a Lovesome Thing” and Mat Lejeune's engineering included for consideration alongside the album. Thank you to @origin_records for being so great to collaborate with.

To my fellow Recording Academy voting members, thank you for listening and for your consideration.
