S/T by Oriska (2024) is a great album. This band is from North Dakota, and this is their first album. They describe their sound as "Blackened Post-Metal," which I think is a good name. There are some Crust Punk and Screamo vibes in there, too. Lyrically, this album explores the turmoil of reality caused by human flaws. This is an album I would love to have on cassette for my collection. This is an 8/10 for me and is definitely worth checking out. Genre(s): Blackened Crust, Post-Metal, Srceamo #blackenedcrust #postmetal #screamo

IT'S THE DAAAAAY! If you're reading this I hope you join a band. I hope you go see the cover bands tonight! I hope every performer today uses their stage time to pretend to be somebody they daydreamed of performing with as a kid! This show was the first show I ever played as an adult. After our set we heard the phrase "you guys should be a real band" after then we did that. Now it's been like 10 years. I love knowing there are other people, 12-99, all around the country living that experience tonight. Thank you @troyal_parthbrooks and @aquariumfargo for giving us the night. Thank you @drewgazi and again @troyal_parthbrooks for keeping us Musing on today! Godspeed my around the country friends wearing their fun little musician costumes tonight. It's gonna be a good one!
