I wish more women in their 30s knew there's a way to wear colour that doesn't feel too try hard.
Because most of us millennials were never taught how to do it. We just got told "be bold!" with zero actual guidance, so we played it safe, bought another white tee, and quietly gave up.
The trick is that you don't start with the colour. You start with the feeling you want to have when getting dressed.
When you dress for how you want to feel rather than what you think you should wear, the colour stops feeling like a risk and starts feeling like the point.
That's literally what dopamine dressing is. And once it clicks, you won't want to go back.

Save this if you've ever looked at a colourful outfit and thought I could never wear that, because guess what? You can babe 😘🩷🩷

I used to love colourful pieces like this but never really wore them properly because I didn't know how to style them but what I’ve realised is it’s not really about the piece itself, it’s about how you anchor it in the rest of your outfit.
I’ve just kept everything else simple and let the cardigan be the focus, and it actually feels easy to wear.

This is exactly the kind of thing I reach for now when I want something a bit more fun but still wearable for everyday
