So…what would your vote in @oryanatc Groceries for Good actually do? If Groundwork is selected for the 2027 program, those donations would help us keep doing the work that makes a difference right here in northern Michigan (and all over the state). It helps us: - Strengthen local food systems and connect kids with healthy, locally grown food. - Help communities move toward clean, affordable energy. - Make it easier and safer to get where we need to go without always having to get behind a wheel. And maybe most importantly, it helps us turn good ideas into real things happening in our communities. If Groundwork’s work matters to you, whether it’s because you care about local food, clean energy, better transportation options, or simply the future of northern Michigan - please take 30 seconds and vote for us! Vote by October 31 [link in bio and probably in our stories!)

In the studio this week: There’s a lot that goes into building a brand beyond what you see here. The formulas, the experiments, the problem solving, and all the little things that add up to all that is Valor. Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to ⏩ - - #behindthebrand #madeinmichigan #valorskincare #traversecitymichigan #buildingabrand Meet Ann! Ann is awesome. She’s a mom, a new grandma, outdoorsy, a retired vet-tech, nature lover, volunteers her time to help animals and at trash pick ups, has such an attention to detail, and overall a really beautiful person. She’s been working in the studio for almost a year and has been an incredible help. She also is running the show for the next week, and I’m so lucky to have her apart of the team. We now have lab jackets! Kinda cheesy and kinda fun :) A little tool to help choose which mask to get ✨ I think I can hear a “finally” sigh from some of our retail partners 😂 We love that @oryanatc offers deionized water! 💧 Deionized water has had minerals removed, making it a great choice for the water-based products we formulate at Valor. And the best part? We don’t have to ship water us! Plus, we can refill and reuse. Less waste, fewer resources, and a little more thoughtfulness behind the things we make✨ Making the biggest batches of powders lately. Posing to show how much I’m covered in powder :) Powder-to-Foam Face Cleanser has been flying off the shelves⏩

Hey, can you do us a super quick favor? Groundwork is in the running for Oryana’s 2027 Groceries for Good program, and we’d really love your vote. You can vote for up to 12 local nonprofits, and we’re hoping Groundwork can be one of them. If we’re selected, we’ll receive a month of donations from Oryana shoppers in 2027. Why does this matter to us? Because every dollar helps Groundwork continue working toward a Michigan where local food, clean energy, better transportation options, and strong communities aren’t just ideas - they’re part of everyday life. If you believe in that kind of future, we’d be grateful for your vote. Vote for Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities by October 31 (link in our bio!) You will find us in the “Environmental Advocacy & Conservation” category. AND you can vote for up to 12 organizations while you’re there, so there’s room for lots of great causes.

Want to help us fundraise? Here’s your chance! Please vote for Conservation Resource Alliance for Oryana’s 2027 Groceries for Good round-up program! Every day, Oryana shoppers have the option to round up their change to the nearest dollar to support the non-profit of the month. Additionally, Oryana chooses one day per month to donate 2% of all sales at both stores to the non-profit. Conservation Resource Alliance (CRA) is officially on the ballot to become a 2027 recipient! Voting takes just a few minutes, but your support today could secure thousands of dollars to directly fund and protect the rivers and wildlife habitats of Northwest Michigan. Tell your friends!
