Hello lovely people, a recording from our most recent takeover at @rumbler_bar has been uploaded to our Soundcloud. It was a bustling, busy night on Chapel St and it was a privilege to get to soundtrack it! The link to the recording will be in our bio and story. It was a bit of a party that night so the sounds are lively but we took it deep eventually… Thank you to @_wuner for collaborating and our friends and loved ones for showing up and getting down on the dance floor. Our next takeover will be at @musicroom_melbourne Sunday DEC 6. Photo by @annalikesflowers ❤️ All media captured on Wurundjeri lands. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be. #deephouse #disco #minimal #techno #melbourne

Good afternoon! We are excited to announce our next venue takeover at @rumbler_bar Saturday 15 August. Joining @oscar.bblack is @_wuner for an another 6 hr collaborative journey. @_wuner is a long time friend of our events and has been quite integral to getting some of them over the line. His new alias has seen a shift in his focus to deeper, stripped back productions. Fenton has been in the game for a while now, drawing from a variety of experiences up and down the east coast. We are super keen to hear more of his sound! Come on down for a late night affair on Chapel St. Rumbler is a lovely bar with great sound, great drinks and plenty of space to groove. Free entry Flyer by Oscar Black This event takes place on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung lands. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be. #house #techno #minimal #vinyl #dub

Conserving Care welcomes Oscar Black back behind the decks for another evening of splendid sounds. @theaquarianlounge founder and community lover, Oscar’s sets are consistently infectious. This Saturday, expect some brilliant curation to liven up your embodiment of a local species alongside other critters. Although he’s a thorough house-head, keep your wits about you! For no genre is safe with Oscar Black… Oscar will ease us into the night at around 6:30pm, following @jessie.forde ‘s mystique. Come down the corridor and enjoy some silliness, we hope to see you there!

The smell of artificial smoke has finally dissipated and the days grow shorter. We have taken our time to reflect all the while our lives keep moving. Thank you to everyone who showed up to our most recent event. We hope that it was a memorable experience. We are pleased to share with you the recording from our last event. The feedback was really positive and Oscar and Taylor where pleased with the execution of the performance. These sounds forms an integral part to the experience guests where offered on the night. Oscar describes the concept "as a more personal response and exploration of their current feelings and thoughts". The performance begins with guests entering a disorientating situation, moving awkwardly around the space to make themselves comfortable. As guests settle in to their environment the space itself becomes more welcoming. Eventually a high point is reached. The music stops and guests step back out into the world. Relive this scenario through the music and sounds heard by guests on the night. This recording is dedicated to the loving memory of Dorothy Baker, Oscar's Nan. This event took place on Wurundjeri lands. Sovereignty was never ceded. Photo from @annalikesflowers
