At @sufretmaryam , this is where I bring visiting friends directly from the airport to and on my recommend list for all my friends, clients and visitors. Stepping in will remind you of the same feeling you get going back to your mum’s home.

The food is the elevated version of @uae.baitmaryam where you taste homecooked Palestinian cuisine. This is where my Palestinian friends eat and give their thumbs up to and I became a customer when my Circassian friend first told me about it. This was my window to a cuisine I started to fall in love with.

I end up ordering my favourites every single time 🙈 Like all my friends I send there… I just send pictures of the food I order and I say just show the waiters and order the same 😂

The must orders for me are Tarsheeha ( raw marinated meat ; a speciality from Chef Salam’s village which is something else!) , halfa rolls (I usually have multiple orders) , lamb chops ( take home orders for my kids), batata harra (vinegary spicy potatoes ), khobez ( 48h fermented dough that arrives popping hot with confit garlic ), grilled shrimp, lamb shoulder and their to die for mansaf.

Chef Salam and her daughter Nada both run a tight ship and ensure that food and service are consistent, delicious and most importantly welcoming. I have to applaud their choice of the perfect chef @m.alqamm to run their kitchen as they are constantly evolving! Each time I go back, dishes and platings are constantly improving.

Have been a loyal paying customer for many years and will continue to be so.
