Sunday ride with the @osix.cycling guys! 🚲☀️

It’s been a while since our last ride to this side of town, and an even longer time since our last visit to @muweblescafe. Ka-miss ang Adobo! 😜

sabi ni Strava, this is your longest ride of 2026🫠🤦‍♂️ Buti na lang hindi Teresa ang pauwi! 🤣😭

Salamat sa masayang Sunday!

September highlights dump before it gets buried deep in my gallery, like many other things that happen in my life and don’t make it to social media.

➡️➡️➡️

September 12 & 13. My first Purveyr Fair.

I already posted a reel about this so go and watch that for more on my thoughts about it. I was there for work, helping out @courier_ph at their booth! Tiring but still a 10/10 experience because I got to discover local brands I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. This event is worth going to at least once.

September 13 is actually my son’s death anniversary. I usually get really sad around this time but being busy tired from the fair helped me deal with grief.

It’s been 7 years since he earned his angel wings. The tiny ring on my pinky was his, made and gifted by @verametals

I got a @foundandformed.studio BADDIE ring in remembrance of all the tough times my son and I endured together. I miss him every single day.

September 18. Brunch + work + an evening bikeability assessment activity in Mandaluyong City.

I’ve been dealing with a creative block that makes editing content a major feat. The @setlog_app helps me document my days easily.

Photo by @_chiawase as we made our way to Mandaluyong City Hall for the @350pilipinas women’s bikeability assessment activity.

There was a super heavy downpour earlier that afternoon that we actually thought of postponing the meeting. I’m glad we pushed through because the weather cleared up anyway.

I guess you could say I was kinda taking a break from advocacy stuff but when an invite like this comes up, I try to make it.

I live in a different city but it’s still crucial to provide feedback as someone passing through. Here’s to hoping the LGU takes our findings seriously and improves their active transport infrastructure.

September 20. Mini @sakto_cc Craft Day!!!

Feat. brunch at Wong Place and dinner at Salad Stop with my love @splintacoldblooded

I absolutely love my @swiftindustries acme tech tote basket bag for craft days (or any of my usual commute days)

Being able to do multiple errands and make it to various appointments without adding to the death of our planet is amazing.

Car-free lifestyle 10/10 would recommend.

120 KM. P2 (30-39 Age Cat) 🥈

Coming into this race underprepared caught up with me fast. I had more falls than I’d like to admit when confidence dropped, bonked so hard, and my nutrition and navigation plans completely went out the window again. 🙈

Luckily, my support system held everything together! Huge thanks to @bikewrenchph for keeping the bike 100% ready, even if I was not. 😂 @thepr_project team for building a solid S&C foundation that helped me push through even after missing two weeks of classes… and many intervals. And finally, knowing @pat_racho was waiting at the finish line was the exact motivation I needed to get it done. 🥰

Exhausted, but grateful for the bonus podium finish. Bawi na lang next year? 👀🥴

The route lives up to the event‘s name.

Lots of submerged segments in the 80km route

Bikeable? Bikeable!

The one time I decide to wear white shoes…

Lagi ko nadadaanan, never ko pa napuntahan

In most gravel races here in Luzon, local stores also serve as a resupply point if the provided aid stations are unreliable (which they are, unfortunately)

Cash is king for these stores, but lately more and more stores accept g cash or maya.

Rare picture of me doing sweep duties

Kornik factory sidequest

We had a mechanical and the factory personnel invited us inside to escape the heat and wash our bikes.

Sacks and sacks of corn kernels were slowly being roasted on top of wood-fed furnaces

I asked the kuyas and they said it was kornik. They offered some, but i was already out of water

„Maputik ba?“

This month‘s track read brings us to Cabanatuan and Gapan for the upcoming @attck.unrstrktd Monsoon.

Roads, mud, rocks, mud, puddles, and more mud await you in the 80km route, hopefully the track conditions get better as race day approaches. If not, ganun talaga. Monsoon nga eh!

Pedal when you can, walk when you can, carry your bike if you can, just keep going and get to the end.

Next month ulit!

@attck.unrstrktd Pacific Coast 100 in 3 minutes

This new route starts with a coastal singletrack and has its turning point at the new coastal road from masanga point to Sitio Loilo. I like this route better than the usual mountain jumanji bullsh*t that we usually take when crossing over to Loilo.

A LOT of the gravel roads have been smoothed over, making it easier to maintain speed on.

The climbs still hurt, but the route has so much nice views that makes it worth the hassle.

Thank you clients and sponsors for enabling this demeaning, yet enjoyable activity.

🎥 Weekend Vlog | Infanta, Quezon 🇵🇭

Rainy start to the weekend, but we pushed through it. 🌧️🚴🏾‍♂️

Made our way out to Infanta, Quezon, for a little weekend escape. Along the way, we stopped by the Attack Unrestricted Pacific Coast Gravel Race to show some love and support the homies putting in work on the course.

Great start to September. ⚙️🌴✨
