We welcomed our newest little bear 🐻 Colin Soobin (수빈) Lang on August 20, 2026! It has already been a whirlwind month full of sleepless nights (ours), adorable faces (his), tears (mostly mom), poopy diapers (mostly dad), and lots of love (everyone)! ❤️ #familang

To Oski - my goodest boy,
It has been 1 week, but it feels like both an instant and a lifetime ago. I still expect to hear the tippy tap of your toe beans on the floor every time I open the door when I come home, the plop of your body as you lay in your favorite spots in the house, your bark at the faintest sound of a car door closing on the street, and your heavy sigh as you lay your head down each night. I still look for the pile of pillows and blankets you would push off the couch when nobody was watching, the pathway of toys abandoned on the floor from when you would bring me a precious gift in your excitement to welcome me home each day, your body curled up in the corner of the chaise you claimed as your throne, and your expectant face looking down from the staircase landing telling me you’re ready to retire upstairs for the night. I still grab for your food bowl to prepare your meals and pause before letting Waffles eat so you can have a head start at dinner time. I still feel your name at the tip of my tongue when I am ready to share my last bites of food and have my dishes pre-rinse licked before they go in the dishwasher. With every sprinkle of fur that I find stuck to my leggings and every cloud of fluff that emerges from between the couch cushions, I am reminded of how you blessed our lives for 11 years. Thank you for all of the love and joy you brought to my heart. You took a piece of it with you as you crossed the rainbow bridge, but now you’ll always carry me with you wherever you are. I’ll love and miss you always my sweet bubba. #oskibowwow 🐶🪽💛
